[Animenz] Grand Escape - Weathering with You OST - Piano Tutorial || Synthesia

Музыка

I had seen Grand Escape on Animenz's poll a few weeks ago but I had no idea he would arrange it so soon. And after listening to his performance, I wanted to transcribe this as soon as possible. I'm still not sure if I transcribed that one repeating right-hand pattern though. It looks too difficult... but then again it's Animenz.
In my last two videos, I've experimented with Rachmaster's VST settings, but I'm noticing that it doesn't change the sound that much. The sound quality in this video particularly might not be as good as others because I didn't pay that much attention to the dynamics when I was transcribing, but at least the thumbnail turned out alright

    The right hand is torture. On top of that, trying to coordinate that with the left hand seems impossible. Jesus Christ what a genius Animenz is.

    @@MP-cv6if double melodies babyyyyy. you really need both hand independence as well as pinky independence so that those fuckers (the pinkies) can play a separate (right hand) melody and (left hand) accompaniment on top of the 2 voices already being played by the rest of the 8 fingers (4 fingers per voice). Technically 4 different "voices" get played at the same time. Would not recommend for someone looking for "Oooh, only one hand. I can play this" Saw him play this the first time and almost tripped when he started playing a completely separate melody line with the pinky on top of the already repeating pattern on the right hand.

    bro i've always trusted your brilliant trancriptions as an aid in learning animenz arr., and now, I'm sorry to say it, but there are some serious inaccuracies in this one. I appreciate your hard work, but man, after this one I lost the trust. (Like many I came for a learning process tool.) What if more transcriptions on the Internet are not that accurate? I hope you understand

  • @oofalization2636

    @akipiano why are your transcriptions not accurate? because i learned from you ive found some inaccurage notes ive been playing wrong this whole time.

  • @AkiPiano

    @AkiPiano

    6 ай бұрын

    Because a lot of my transcriptions are done by directly watching the video and without sheet music. This involves me watching the performance at 0.25 speed for some parts, following the video frame by frame, and even looking at the reflections of the hands on the piano for a better look lol. This video in particular, I agree, is not very accurate, and tbh I'm not too happy with how it turned out, despite its popularity. I was just focused on getting the video out quickly (this was uploaded the day of Animenz's video and took around 3 hours) and must have sacrificed accuracy as a result. I unfortunately cannot guarantee accuracy in any of my videos, nor can most amateur transcribers. I just tried to get as many videos out as possible so people who can't read sheets at least can have a shot at learning these arrangements.

At first coordinating the right hand with the left seems impossible but just go slow. I used sheet music mostly to learn this song but came to synthesia when i get mix up the sections and was too lazy to scroll to the exact passage.
