the anime franchise is called evangelion. it originally was a tv series called neon genesis evangelion, later it spawned a movie Tetralogy, of which 3 of the 4 movies are out. the scenes that were used in the video were taken from the first movie namely Evangelion 1.0. the reason i did not reply was that I was under the assumption that one could figure it out from the comments as well as from the title of said video.

1.0 und 2.22 sind klasse. Gerade nochmal angeguckt... Auch ich bin durch Super RTL darauf gekommen. Wurden direkt simpathisch miteinander. ^^ Kann nur hoffen, dass die deutsche Blue-Ray zu 3.33 bald rauskommen wird.

there is a tv series and there are movies. personally i would watch the tv series first. then watch end of evangelion movie and then watch the rebuilt of evangelion. if you ask me which i think is better it will easily be rebuilt of evangelion. the rebuilts are also known as evangelion 1.0 , 2.0 etc etc

np just so you know evangelion in general is very psychological and especially the tv series Neon genesis evangelion polarized a lot of the viewers in the second half of its show, due to the aforementioned. heavy religious symbolism and a lot of psychological themes. the rebuilt movies is a tetralogy of which only 3 are currently out. i hope i was not too confusing. you can always use wikipedia or myanimelist(dot)net, both are very helpful sources that will explain it in greater depth

How did you like the rebuild compared to the original series? I've been waiting for the final movie to come out and planned on watching them all in a row but damn I'm getting impatient now lol

iv watched all of NGE + EOE and the 3 rebuilds that have come out and i liked the rebuilds a lot , the first two are pretty much like the series just a little different mainly with the a completely new character and a few new Angels but 3 is where it really separates from the series but not necessarily in a bad way personally i liked 3 but everyone has their own opinions
