Funfact: The mangaka didn't want the manga to be adapted into an Anime, but rather a "moving manga". That's why it's like that. Feels like people would appreciate the staff behind the adaptation more if they knew it was intentional.

What i love the most about it is the neighbors are in par with his vibe Everybody else is shocked but the neighbors understand he's a good guy 😂😂🤣

Bit of a spoiler for the manga But at the beginning the neighbors were wary of him too. It took a moment and a few chapters but after a while the stuff he says doesn’t faze them anymore. They all adore and help him out 🥰

I honestly don't mind this type of animation. I know they are essentially a power point presentation, but I enjoy them because they enhance the comedic moments, and it just feels more immersive than reading the manga. Although I think this type of animation works best in a slice-of-life comedy.

Yeah. There’s definitely manga this wouldn’t work for, but I’d still like to see more of it. Really, what would’ve been improved if this was fully animated? You’d double the price to make it just to barely improve the end result.

I don't really see it as a power point presentation, but it really reminded me of a very effortful comic dub animation I usually watch on KZread. Which, by animation standards, ranks quite simple and mundane. And that is why I like it, it has it's own charm that enhance it's comedy. Besides, I think all the budget went to the allowance of the voice actor.

I was bothered at first because its first time I seen something like this animation but after watching few episode you just enjoy the show and dont notice anymore the difference that you saw the first time.

I really like his relationships with his wife ! They go along so well despite being so different !

This whole anime is one giant amazing laugh. I love every second of this thing. And the little details really make it even more entertaining, like the fact that Tatsu's profile pic is their cat or that the only like he got is from his wife, who in turn set her profile name as a mix between her name and Policure xD The more you look the deeper this anime runs xD

1:20 Dunno what's scarier: the fact that the employee thinks they know what he wants, or the fact the store doesn't carry it.

I love that all his relationships are genuinely so fucking healthy. The fact that hes buddies with those old ladies and he's so receptive to Miku's dad.

It really surprising how some interesting framing and a bit of clever editing can make a show with animation so limited as this one feel so charming, certainly more memorable that a lot of SoL with standard ok-ish but ultimate forgettable animation, props to the team

i know this is intentional by the mangaka it self, but trully blessed the mangaka, he can spot the set up that is the best for his own manga, and deciding to use that as animation, making this feels unique and refreshing, it feels you has seeing someone live but not from 3D respective, but from 2D respective which is making this feels so refreshing, and also im enjoying every moments panel change it so flawless, kudos for the studio making the panel changing didnt awkward

I absolutely ADORE this anime. I have watched the whole series at least 20 times. Its so short, but it so entertaining

This anime is superb🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 But sadly its short. But every episode Tatsu show, I'm hyped to know what he will make next. His level of cooking, also the skills and knowledge in preparing the proper meals daily really outstanding..and plus he also can make chinese cuisine, and not mention, the level of understanding the using of goods in making foods to produce high level nutrients and boast of health is really shockingly surprised. And yup, this duo couples even had a different background, but they still lovely. Their family also accepted him. Yup, thank u animator in making this wonderful anime🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I recommend the manga too, there's a few bits they miss out in the anime and the author is still making more!

to those who are confused about the "animation", this anime is a Picture Drama. it's a type of animation that focus mostly on humor/drama and voice work instead of "Sakuga" style fluid movements and animation. (this type of "animation" is actually very common in Japan)

I just wanna say that canele need a mandatory 24 hours batter rest and 48 hrs if you want it to taste really good. So unless you've already planned on making it and had already prepared the batter beforehand it's not a fast thing you can whip out like he make it seems. Also a canele taste really great but it's really hard to make a good canele. just like he did rum is added in it but it's optional. . ps. I know this is for entertainment I just wanna share what I know maybe someone would like to learn about these thing like me ^^

Can't believe this is the same voice actor as Kento Nanami from JJK and also the VA for Kishibe from CSM. This guy is god damn talented

ほんと、それ。

元の作品がいいってのもあるけど、原作の雰囲気を崩さないようにほぼそのままで作ってる制作陣と「本当にそうなってるんだな」って思わせる声優さんの演技が映えてて素晴らしいアニメだと思う 何故地上で放送しなかった（全ギレ）

@@user-ur7zl4jf2c ドラマ版は完全に別作品ですよσ(^_^;) 原作には登場しない龍と美久の娘が居たり、一軒家で暮らしてたりしてお世辞にも面白いとは言い難いですσ(^_^;)

I really love when this voice actor plays his role.

He's so awesome because he is also friends with other grannies and mothers in their place 🤣

broo,I feel so proud when I saw this 😭 it's one of my favourite manga well even though the mangaka dont want it to be adapted into anime but rather a moving manga I still feel proud that it's getting more attention 😔👌 and I watched the live adaptation it's unexpectedly good and funny af 😂😂

They're actually share the same voice actor, the VA even play the same role in the live action version

I love this series so much! i watch the live action because i watched the anime version first!

Oh crap! I remember when TsudaKen did the live action version of this for the Yakuza series. Also, yay Nanani and Nihongo’s voice actor!

原作の雰囲気バッチリ表現してて良いよなぁ。 それにしても登場するモブがいちいちキャラ良すぎるんだよなぁ。

this show proves that you can be a cool person without being a jerk Yeah I'm looking at you Paul brothers.

nah it always been like that, we human's consider the simplest, yet the hugest showings of bravo to complete the most simplest task to be pretty badass. Someone who has so much skill, yet uses it effectively and quietly. Only to do it cause it's fun, or the only way that individual knows how too.

I like this animation honestly.
