I honestly love how this is also one of thier Emmy Award Winning skits, so this particular skit was recognized as an achievement in entertainment (I think it was that one of the animators received the award for thier work on the skit). 😁

Even as 8 year old who was obsessed with DBZ at the time, the Little Drummer Boy was still my favorite part of this skit.

I watched this almost 20 times tonight. This takes me back. I remember watching this one Christmas when I still lived with my parents at our old house almost 20 years ago. This was the closest thing I had to a Dragon Ball Z parody back in the day. I had this recorded on the TV's DVR so I watched it over and over. I don't know why but I just love this bit.

Robot Chicken's Santa is really hands down the G.O.A.T

Gotta love the weird foreshadowing in not only the angel joke but how Composite Santa is similar to Merged Zamasu in design and name. I highly doubt the team behind DBS took inspiration from this segment but it's still an interesting inderect nod to something that came out almost a decade later

It's a shame, because the guys who actually dubbed the characters made no money off TV airings or even current DVD sales. They were randoms, whereas the guys here were AAA VAs, I'm sure they didnt need this little thing at all.

seans funny but seth doing goku is a lot funnier...his timing is great cause he gets how to perfect the sketch with some great improv line reads with the right emotion....

2006: Goku can totally beat up a bunch of winged losers that are just super effective against demons. 2015: An angel in Dragon Ball can casually look away to admire nature while training both him AND Vegeta without taking a hit after they found out he taught the planetary grim reaper that literally flicked Buu and Gohan away.
