A bit more info is that they gave him a tampered bow and I believe his first shot was too low and then too high. The knights gave him a tampered bow so that he could look like a fool and then be kill. When the assassin runs he ask if they want him death or alive so they told him alive so he procced to shot him in the foot

Actually what he asked was if they could take him alive. They said something along the lines of it being to dangerous, so he proceeded to shoot him in the foot. Mind you I watched the English dub so it may have been a mistranslation.

Dont you just hate it when this doesn't have continuation.

This anime still has the insane scene when he catches an arrow mid-air and fires it back. The animation was so clean, god, it was sick.

Context: they gave him a defective bow because of their warrior princess interest in him, and he was failing the targets, but he managed to master it quickly, and when an assassin tried to hit the lady he asked him the man has to be captive alive and said: I'm going for the leg. He hit him at more than 300 meters, an unthinkable distance for anyone, gaining the respect of the garrison

Archer: "Sorry, I can only hit live targets."

Крутое аниме, очень понравилось когда смотрел в детстве.

Not even this soundtrack could make this scene look badass

Short explanation: he is a character named ash who lives in a small village that went to war with a big city and he was the typical anime hero that tried sacrificing his life for his village and got taken captive and he eventually became friends with a war goddes that helps his village when they are under attack/ pls get a lots of likes

This is the first anime I watched ever. It’s really good imo. It’s funny to me how great anime only get 1 season of 12 episodes and shit anime like fuckin food wars or sports anime get 7 seasons with 25 episodes.

He is one of the best archers in anime just from skill not actual power
