Animations shows moments leading up to Leicester City owner's helicopter crash
Animation of the helicopter crash that killed Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha has been released.
The Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) has released a report on the incident that happened outside the club’s King Power Stadium on 27 October 2018.
Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, employees Nursara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare, pilot Eric Swaffer and his partner, Izabela Roza Lechowicz were all killed in the accident.
The Leonardo AW169 helicopter reached an altitude of approximately 430ft before plummeting to the ground.
The pilot’s pedals became disconnected from the tail rotor, investigators found. This resulted in the aircraft making a sharp right turn which was “impossible” to control.
The AAIB described this as “a catastrophic failure”, causing the helicopter to spin quickly, approximately five times.

Hmmm. I wonder its allowed to take off with a heli in a packed stadion.Helis in the starting phase are allways a bit risky cause of the big, openly rotating parts. If this accident had happened in the stadion there would have been dozends killed.Maybe even in a three figured number by the impact,shrapnels ,gire,explosion ,panic

What a vile ignorant comment if you had any knowledge whatsoever of how much these people were loved hugely and will be missed by their loving families many friends and fans in their millions from across the World. I think Israeli security services brought down this helicopter...Rich Jews stunned at losing their money when spurs failed to catch and overtake Leicester for the title.
