the more you understand math and physics, the more you can appreciate these animations. i wish i could understand more math. of course the golden ratio (phi) and the theorem of pythagoras are the most recognizable here. some might recognize the three dimensional figures from games including dice. theyre named in ancient greek after the number of surfaces they have.

alan becker is in fact the guy that did "animation vs animator"... also these get way better the more you understand math physics and geometrical principles are. oh and the thing you forgot the name of is the davinci spiral. btw the 3d objects are the 5 equilateral shapes which are coincidentally the same as standard dice for D&D(d4, d6, d8, d12, d20)

Aw man, one of my favorite new rabbit holes. Highly recommend the one about math, it's incredible how he visualizes so many concepts. A bunch of them go over my head, and a lot of my day job is math. But that just makes it better.

Exactly like I would love to see him react to animator vs animation series because it really shows Alan’s growth in terms of his style of animation

I know it's something like that but the idea of me successfully pronouncing it without checking it first is both comical and dreadful all at once.
