Quick tip : add choker instead of levels, its get the work done much smoother but the only downside is it cut offs some of the edges, but depends on tweakingthe values.

Nice tutorial will definetely try it, another way is to do it by making a line and adjusting wave properties in stroke section, its faster and easier but the result is not that random.

hey Emonee Thank you so much for sharing this amazing tutorial. I am having a problem while following your tutorial. at 1:50 did you apply Easy ease on Scale or Position key frames? my graph editor shows different shape of a graph from yours. it is more like Sign Graph. And my handle doesn't rotate but only move up down and left right.... please let me know how to fix this problem. Thank you again!
