His prodigy was a “former” child soldier, so I bet that he had some training in dealing with people that have a heavy past.

Top tier animation aside. Great story here. Dan Heng finally accepts his past, but chooses to not let it tie him down, and walk a new future.

Coming back from Jingliu's story quest, this hurts even more

It's so poetic that it started with High Cloud Quintet which was Dan Heng's past. And ended with Astral Express with Dan Heng's future All while Dan Heng was fighting Dan Feng as he try to establish that he is his own person. This was really so well done.
