@@austeregaming3085Instead of using the elipse tool to mask you basically just use the pen tool and put points around a character (make sure to join the end point to the start point) and as shown in this video start tracking. After rendering is done if the mask is off adjust it in each frame. If the character moves alot then it’ll take a while to finish.

Thanks, I will use that effect in the outro of my videos. Though I had to use Auto Trace, because I didn't want to create a mask manually using the pen, it's too much work.

Hi @tylo Do you know how to reduce the whiteness from the neon strobe? I've tried my best to leave it as a full colored line even though it would loose the neon effect but i couldnt find a way to do this with saber? Nice video, very clearly explained. My only issue, is when I have finished editing a project and I go to render it through Media Encoder, all the effects are visible, except the saber effect, it just appears as if the effect was not even there in the first place. Any ideas on how to potentially fix this issue?

If you cannot see what you are trying to outline, then try add instead of transparent.

its easy to miss but you can click the selection tool on the top left corner or press V and youll be able to adjust the circle instead of it making another mask

i don't think so. masking is just the fastest and easiest way
