Animals Found Out of Their Natural Habitats

These animals were found out of their natural habitats. In 2018, one class pet was not looking forward to the new school year, so the python made a daring escape. It’s not too often you see a pelican just taking a stroll through the snow. But it happened in Lake Tahoe in March of 2023. You've heard about a bull in a China shop, but a steer in a Petco? In 2019, a man brought his 1-ton animal on a Petco run. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.

Well yeah, it would show up blue, on the cold side of the thermal scale. Humans would show heat, so the snake would stand out.

@@h.b16 Lol they're looking for a snake in a building, they're not looking for a human holding a snake, it wasn't stolen, it escaped, I'm well aware there's a difference in heat signatures between humans and cold blooded reptiles, that was my point

I've had a ball python for 9 years. They use strangulation (but they also do bite in defense, no venom) but I wouldn't be too scared of it especially if it's a pet that's familiar with humans. If it's wild it might try to defend when you get too close but as a pet it probably just looks at you like "hey buddy! don't mind me slitherin in here!" and p.s, thermal imagining don't work on these animals lol our snake escaped out an airway in the terrarium once, but it was cold outside so he sandwiched himself inbetween the glass plate above and the top of the terrarium below. Found him the next morning.
