11:38 Tosin realizes "this is a legit interview, now I don't have to pluck away at my guitar in between answering questions to relieve my boredom." Great interview guys. Well thought out questions, very much appreciated.

Tosin is a definition of 21st century when it comes to guitar playing. I think there's no other person in metal scene who can utilize 8 string guitar to its maximum.

There is a common theme in my life..... It is a theme that has withstood the test of time for the past 7 or 8 years.... It is a mantra that I live by.... that mantra is: "Tosin... is God." That is all.....

yes tosin, you are right...you have not been exposed to the right classical composers if you think that the western classical world of harmony is purely triadic. Mahler, Stravinsky, Debussy should get you going for now. Even Mozart and Beethoven on occasion used harmony that still would be considered experimental.

  • @MichaelIbsenGuitar

He needs to be exposed to some classical guitar music with extended harmony.. there is a lot of it... Ponce, Brouwer, Bogdanovic. I can see how most musicians aren't exposed to it but it's too bad he hasn't heard this stuff.
