Find a style that suits how you move. Your body can adapt to learning almost any style, but if you choose one that works with your body and your existing capabilities then you will be far more capable.

you should start Muay thai or boxing. Reason: those are the only styles that you can seriously fight and beat an opponent, and try how much youve progressed all the others are almost bullshit which wont work in real life. now sure there are few that are work like krav maga etc... but you get my point, atleast you should.

jerppaz z the oh this is the style people. Boxing is the best style. Muay Thai is the best style karate is the best style. That way off thinking is ridiculous you should learn anything and everything you can about martial arts in order to become the most effective fighter possible.

I'm glad you found it very helpful. You're such an encouragement for me to post more. I was reluctant at first to start making these videos, but Choson Ninja's videos gave me the courage to try. I really owe all this to God. He's given me the gift to learn and teach martial arts. So I might as well use it to teach all over the world just like Choson Ninja. I've really only taught some students and friends from my martial art schools. So this is all very new to me. Thx again and God Bless!

Very informative on the difference between tiger and dragon claw techniques. Leaving out the actual kick and rehearsing the step and jump until it works must be the best training tips for spinning kicks I've ever heard.

I have been looking for someone who could provide video demonstrations on the Seven Fighting Animals (Bear, Tiger, Mongoose, White Crane, Mantis, Cobra, Dragon). Your teaching demonstrations are FANTASTIC!!! Genuine training and instruction on the fighting animals and the "Beast motion." EXACTLY what I've needed and been searching for. I am currently not near "my school" that teaches this, so this will help me immensely! I am now an "online student" of yours. THANK YOU Shifu! Keep it up!!!

I studied three martial arts styles ( Chinese White crane, Jeet Kune Do, and Jiu Jitsu) Due to health reasons (I'm 49 now) I stopped training 16 years ago. Watching your videos (I subscribed) has inspired me to at least start some training again. Age has a funny way of changing the body - you'll see. You have amazing speed, strong discipline, and sharp technique. Just wanted to say thanks for the videos.

Not just Martial Arts, but even wrestling too aren't to be used to get revenge, redemption, or whatever bad stuff you want to name. My sifu knew the animal arts and Tai Chi. I was told by my wrestling coach that I shouldn't even bother learning how to wrestle if I'm doing it to harm someone else. He kicked kicked kids out of his wrestling room because of that. My sifu also told me, "You must find peace within yourself, become wiser not just in body and mind; but in spirit." I didn't understand it of course since I was very young during my training as a blackbelt. He taught me the animal arts of the Panther and Wolf. He said the Panther is a variation of the Tiger, but it suits me.

Which martial arts have you been doing though your lifetime? I was thinking of doing different martial arts, to later combine them. I've done karate and now I do wing chun. But which martial arts have you done?

  • @SifuNate

    @SifuNate

    9 жыл бұрын

Started in Keichu-Do which is Karate and Jiu-jitsu style with a few other mixes from boxing and kung fu. Then Jeet Kune Do which has fencing, boxing, wing chun, savate, silat, BJJ, Judo Muay Thai, and Kali mixed in and more, during the same time I was taking traditional animal forms like Gung Gar, Lau Gar, Longfist, Mantis, Drunken Boxing. Then Wing Chun and some of Bagua and Ninjutsu. Along side Tai Chi, which has been the most consistent and continually discovering fighting applications. Learned the basics of Capoeira at UFC gym. Learned till blue belt level so far in BJJ, and learning Sambo and Systema. Taking some Krav Maga at the gym and boxing. I am ranked as apprentice instructor in JKD, associate instructor in Wing Chun and 2nd degree black belt in Karate.

Wow! Awesome man! Learning all of these different styles and techniques gotto be so cool, and then later being albe to form your own style that suits ´you´. Thanks alot, was thinking of doing Wing Chun (what im doing right now), aikodo, bjj, taekwondo, tai chi, muay thai and the animal styles. But what do you think is the most effective martial arts if someone goes up in front your face and try to knock you? would it be a grappling arts or a pure close quarters art??

Ninja Nate Yes, I understand the great pain I would suffer. I often urinate in my trousers at the thought of having it done. Instead, I wear a tee shirt to conceal my shame, a tee shirt that says I am a fearless warrior. Yet I am chagrin when it rains and the embarrassing characters show through the fabric putting my shame on full display to the public. "You claim to be a fearless warrior, but behold! The truth is showing through your wet tee shirt. You are a homo!" they say. "I am not a homo!" "You say you are not, yet your tattoo reveals the truth." They answer. "It was a mean trick perpetrated by a bully while I was drugged in the tattoo parlor chair!." "Ha,ha,..be quiet, you sissy!" By this time tears have begun running down my cheeks and my lip is trembling, I can barely speak as my sobbing overwhelms my senses. "Shut up!" I finally manage to blurt out, then I break down crying and run away to hide in my room with the bullys in pursuit calling after me. "Run homo,..run!" they chant, mockingly. "Leave me alone,. stop chasing me!" "Listen to the homo cry!" they laugh. And that is how it usually goes for me when it rains. How about you? Do you have any embarrassing tattoos?

I was shown this kick in a dream 10, 13 years ago. I was cornered and absolutely terrified and used it against 3 agent looking dudes in suits. Focusing all my power in my legs dantien and energy point in my hips. It was extremely powerful. It's fascinating because I've never seen it before till now. Jake mase has 1 similar doesn't look as strong. But this one's exactly the same. I did it 3 times in a row in my dream. Some kicks I used for momentum to keep the flow. I've never felt powerful in a dream before. Mean! Thanks bro gonna practice the @#it out of this

The thing I find most interesting about kung fu is that most of the techniques are not so useful in sport like kickboxing or mma, but in real life it can be quite effective. Its amazing what difference there is in those strikes (especially to the head) just without the 4 oz gloves. Also the fact that most of those fast strikes are meant for the eyes/throat helps lol

Nice moves, man! And the way that you perform the kicks and jumping kicks are great! I appreciate how do you show the differences between claws. I practice Eagle Claw style 13 years ago and I saw many people that doesnt notice the difference.

Thank you for showing the Tiger style. Before my Sifu moved away, this is style he was wanting to teach me. I've just started to learn Wing Chun, but i also wan to go and do the Tiger style as well. I will be teaching myself, so this is of great help. Thank you.

Notice how badass the practice dummy looks. Makes skinny dudes feel even stronger when they kick it's ass animal style.

This is actually one of the only really good Kung-Fu videos I've seen, because these techniques are the real deal, and not utter shit like most videos. I can learn the different techniques from this video. Very good!
