Yes Yes YES! I'm completely biased since I worked in Animal Kingdom for almost 2 years, but in a resort where everyone goes so so fast, Animal Kingdom is literally designed to make you slow down. The foliage gives so much shade and encourages you to just breathe. The animals are great, and I love walking the trails. The Tree of Life is stunning. I crave Flame Tree Barbeque ribs year round. The shows are great (again, I'm biased cuz I worked Theatre Ops and saw these shows multiple times a day). Pandora is breath-taking, and Flight of Passage is a near spiritual experience. It felt so good working at a park where the theme is so meaningful, down to the fact that each land has a conservation message (yes, even Dinoland - "Extinction is Forever"). Love it with all my heart.

I fully agree with this! Flight of Passage, Expedition Everest, the beautiful atmosphere at literally every turn, the food (hello, Nomad Lounge!), the shows (can't wait to see the new Finding Nemo show!) and of course the animals and trails. I know Dino Land is going through some growing pains right now, but I know it will be great one day. I was talking to a CM at Nomad Lounge on my solo trip, and was sitting on the patio and we started talking about the park and he said with his hands outwards towards Pandora, "Look at this place! This place is amazing, it's like you're not even in a park!" 💓

@@Lawlzinator lol I don’t go just for the rides, there’s so much more to do than rides! The live entertainment is spot on: the Viva Gaia band is great along with the Tam Tam Drummers. I went solo recently and while I was excited about the rides (mainly FOP) I was mainly looking for a more relaxing vibe which AK definitely provides 😍

I loved all that I was able to experience in animal kingdom. I will go again for sure and finally fit on Flight of Passage! I sadly was a little too big in 2019 but I've lost around 200 lbs since then so there's no doubt I can ride it now.

My favorite thing about AK is the duck with the wonky tail I check on a couple times a month. He lives with his gf by the swans and he comes when I sing “Louie Louie” to him. Flight of Passage is pretty cool too.

In many ways it is my favorite. I have loved to watch the parrots be released at rope drop. In a fantasy of mine where I retire and live near the park, I begin each day at AK at rope drop and walk the trails. Another fantasy of mine as a botanist, is to create a Plant Kingdom tour of this park.

As a Brazilian, when I go there these trees just feel like home, I know they are not the same, it's just nice to see something familiar

It's a toss-up between Epcot and AK for me. Epcot because of nostalgia, some fun rides, and some great updates over the years. Plus Spaceship Earth will always have a special place in my heart. AK's atmosphere, nature, theming, lots of shaded areas, rides, and eats make it stand out. Last time we went to WDW we all agreed that we had the most relaxing, fun-filled day at AK.

Honestly the best time to go to Animal Kingdom is when it’s slightly rainy. Something but the light rain and grey skies makes it more magical to me (especially around the tree of life, Pandora, and the Asia section), kind of like you are exploring the deepest and abandoned jungles. And you don’t get too wet because of the high leaves and trees.

We L❤️VE Animal Kingdom! We spend two full days there on every trip. We have major animal lovers in our family and we love to wander the park. Every day is different, but the chill ambience is always there. Love the music, live performers, artists and those macaws 🦜❤️

BEST PARK hands down. As i get older this park is just more and more relaxing. The theming is perfection. The food is on point. The rides are amazing and immersive. The entertainment will have you jamming out and dancing around while eating street corn.

Epcot and Animal Kingdom are my parks. Food and atmosphere at both can't be beat. When we plan a quick trip it's MK, AK, HS then Epcot to relax before the ride home the next morning. Going back and forth between crazy parks and chill experiences is the best way we found to appreciate a trip.

I love this series! I’d love to see it continue, maybe with the California parks? 😁❤️

i gotta say.. even though animal kingdom has never been my fav park it does have its moments when it really makes me reconsider only visiting for a day. i have always been a fan of most ( maybe even all ) of its rides, especially expedition everest. it has this strange thrill to it and even though ive been on tons of roller coasters that are a lot more intense, this one just feels different to me. if i remember correctly it was one of the first rides i rode at ak when i was younger.. i was scared and felt that nervous feeling in my stomach but after i felt energized. my parents also bought me a yeti themed shirt afterwards!! MAN seeing that mountain everytime brings back memories

Great video. I love animal kingdom and it would be my favorite but I cant resist all the lovely food at Epcot. But I love how the AK theming is always on point.

My mom and I were just saying this after our trip. It is relaxing with the best food options (besides maybe Epcot), best theming and some family rides and thrill rides thrown in. If they would redo Dinoland into Australia (Nemo musical is already there for Australia), and create some better rides over there, it would be amazing!

This was a good video for me to see. I have been one of those people who skips AK on my visits to WDW but my next trip is a solo trip and I’m giving myself a full day for each park. Thanks for helping me feel excited about my Animal Kingdom day. 😁

Ironically Dinoland USA is my second favorite area in the park (second to Pandora). I think the atmosphere is cute and I love the cheesyness of it. Dinosaur has been one of my favorite rides for years and the Boneyard gives me good memories of when I was younger and used to play on it for almost an hour

Honestly Animal Kingdom will always be my absolute favorite park out of the four. Flight of Passage, Kali River Rapids, Dinosaur and the Safari are some of my absolute favorite rides at Disney. My most recent trip 2 months ago was when I first got to ride Flight of Passage since the last time I was at Disney was when Pandora first opened and I only got to go on the River Journey (still a great ride just not my top favorite) and I'm so glad I got to ride on it this time. It became my new favorite ride and I had to ride on it again before my trip ended!

Haven’t been into Dinoland in the past 3 trips I’ve made to AK, so I guess that shows how I feel about it. That being said, AK food is my favorite, even above Epcot on most days. And my favorite ride, Expedition Everest is there, so I do love AK!

The atmosphere of AK blew me away when I had my first and so far only trip to DW in 2019 (right after opening of Galaxy's edge). I was at DW for five days and had planned one day at AK, but the theming and overall atmosphere of AK made me cancel all my MK fastpasses for my last day at the parks so I could spend it at AK. After doing flight of passage at ropedrop and riding Kilimanjaro Safari right when it opened (during which we had the awesome experience of the alpha lion roaring at the sun to start it's day!!!) I just wandered through the park for a day, picking some rides when crowds were manageable, but most of all just soaking up the great atmosphere. Highlight of that last day was just watching the silverback gorillas for over an hour, chatting to the caretakers and simply being in the moment. Whenever I get the change to hop back over the pond to DW (I'm from the Netherlands), Animal Kingdom will be my first priority, even with all the new rides at Epcot and Hollywood studios!

Definitely my favourite park, as you said the Tree of Life has more of an impact than Cinderellas castle does for me! Keep up the awesome work you all do!

PRO-DINOLAND. Fun place for kids, BIG Dino-dig playground, well shaded, the only real playground in any park. Also, it’s a sleeper hit on the snacks. I prefer this area to Pongu Pongu any day.

Animal Kingdom is my favorite. I’m also a big Avatar fan and those 2 rides are phenomenal. The park is really well done in how it feels almost realistic to be in Asia/Africa etc. I approve😁

I put Animal Kingdom in the same SSS+ Tier as Islands, they’re both the best theme parks in Florida

its my go to park on cooler days, just love walking those animal trails on cool day weather... also pandora at night its awesome, too bad you cant experience that in summer days because of day light. Still epcot team here!!!

I was hoping in the food section someone would mention the underrated Harambe Market, because its literally my fave quick service restaurant, and I’d argue that the ribs there are better than the ones at Flame Tree…🙂

It’s my son’s absolutely favorite park and I enjoy the food options.

I'm planning a 9 day trip to ADD & my break day will be on a weekend & will be spent at Disney Springs so we can take our time away from the busy parks on a busy day!!!

I'd still say Magic Kingdom just has the most, though it perhaps suffers by comparison with Anaheim Disneyland which it is built to resemble. But of the other parks, Animal Kingdom is my favorite and I've always thought it was underrated. Expedition Everest is my favorite Disney coaster of the ones I've ridden, and the park's theming is just next-level. On both of my visits to WDW we happened to hit Animal Kingdom first and an early ride on Everest was the thing that really made me feel like my visit to Disney World was under way. Also, Dinosaur is underappreciated! It's a real thrill ride. Take care, though, it's scarier than parents of little kids might expect.

I thought that Dinoland was terrible when I first went. But, when Molly from Allears explained the back story in one of her video, I suddenly realized how much Disney nailed their theme. I still don’t like it, but the feeling is exactly what it is supposed to be.

I'm SO glad this video was made! My family and I are going to Animal Kingdom for the first time in a few months. What restaurant in AK has the most variety of food? I'm the family foodie, one of my family members is more of a chicken tenders-French fry kind of guy, and the other family member is somewhere in between. Any restaurant recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

We'll be in AK on Tuesday 5/31 and MK on Thursday 6/2.

I would never skip AK.. its one of the best parks! and I agree, its chill and seems to have some really good snacks. This is something I feel HS lacks. AK will be our first park to visit next week in the Disney Park system. Epcot is probably my 2nd favorite because of all the lands and neat food!

I completely agree. I’m sure some others over at DFB team agree. It’s the park I use to get my day going every time I’m at Disney

On my last trip to the World in early December 2017, Value Season (remember those?) between the Thanksgiving and Christmas prime time rushes, I spent 2 of 5 days at Animal Kingdom. Admittedly, I was in line for the recently opened Flight of Passage for 3+ hours, but there was so much that was new, different, and amazing to experience in Pandora, that I did not mind and the ride was so worth it. And speaking of things to experience, the queues for Expedition Everest and Kali River Rapids are worth taking the regular/standby lines even if you don't go on the rides. I was fortunate enough to hear/see [Heresy? No.] the original version of the Rivers of Light show. The marketing suits, or whoever, that first tried to "fix" the show and then cancelled it altogether know not a wonderful thing when they hear/see it; at least I have the soundtrack CD [end of rant]. And finally, the Tree of Life Awakenings (also on the CD) ==> Beacon of Magic is back. And the live musicians are also finally back. Yaayyy! As a U. S. Government certified Old Fa..., ehr, Dude (keep it family friendly), at this point in the life cycle (a.k.a. the circle of life), Animal Kingdom and Epcot are my favorite places in the World. Which is better? At these levels of excellence that is a moot question. Enjoy.

Animal Kingdom will be our park for the first of 10 days. We have 8 year old triplets who will have their eyes WIDE OPEN! Any advice on pacing the park for a fun full first day? Is it possible to do some of these big rides more than once in a day due to the low traffic? Any advice on character dining?

I can't wait to go in Oct. I'll be there Friday Oct. 21. A lot of people mostly young people said their favorite park was Disney Hollywood Studios. I think all the parks have something good. When I go it will be my 2nd time at AK. I can't wait to go on Avatar Flight of Passage.

Epcot will always be my favorite park overall, but Everest and Dinosaur are my two favorite rides, and I would say that AK is, objectively, the best park given the immersion, balance of rides and experiences (definitely don’t discount the treks and walks), and overall aesthetic.

100% agree. I don't understand why so many people skip AK. They say they can go to a zoo at home. AK is so much more than a zoo. Excited to see all the shows and characters return. I sure do wish they would stay open late enough to see the Tree Awakening and Pandora at night.

This park turns 25 next April! I don’t think I’ll be there, though. Fun fact: it’s the only Disney theme park (in Florida; not counting the water parks) whose name hasn’t changed since it opened. If you count the different ways MK has been referred to (like “Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom”).

This park is amazing

I’m going to be spending 10 days on property in January next year and I am genuinely contemplating only going to animal kingdom and not bothering with the other parks.

Why the heck are there not miniature models of the Tree of Life available as a souvenir? I would absolutely love a 12-18" tall model. I bet those would sell like fire

Flight of Passage is the best theme park ride anywhere in the world, in my humble opinion.....as of about 2 weeks ago, I have now ridden it approx 8 times, and I keep waiting for the time where I walk off not being completely amazed....hasn't happened yet!

Love this park and the hotel. I just wish they would revamp dinoland

We love AK, theming is the best, atmosphere is the best, FOP and EE are the best.

As a member of my state's zoological society, I'll counter anyone's opinion that DAK is just a glorified zoo. It most definitely is so much more!!! (and my favorite of the 4 parks!). OH! And by the way I am one of those who appreciates how tacky the Imagineers made Dinoland USA...having grown up stopping at kitschy roadside tourist traps on family road trips 😜

Used Geanie+ on my May 15th day at Animal Kingdom. Was not expecting AK to be "busy", so we didn't add Genie+ til we arrived for our10am breakfast at Rainforest Cafe so we missrd that early booking window. Booked our first LL for Kilimanjaro Safari at 220pm Watched the Friends in Fligjt bird show and rode Expedition Everest standby in 25-30 minutes Rode Kilimanjaro Safari then our 2nd booking window opened. Booked a 615pm Navi River Journey then made our way to Dinosaur at 4pm and rode standby in about 25 minutes. Booked a LL for the 5pm Lion King (show was too popular for standby on this day.) Redeemed the 615pm Navi River Journey then mobil ordered dinner at Flame Tree BBQ before heading back to our room at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

I was here in Animal Kingdom not to long ago (about 2 days ago). However, one of my favorite all time attractions, Dinosaur was missing the big scary animatronic (the one that roars at your face). I was sad to see him gone and the ride really isn’t the same. Is this just a temporary deal? Will the animatronic be back?

AK is the perfect park for a break day. We are never in a hurry while there. So many great trails. We don’t worry about wait times but I’ve never waited longer than 60 min for any ride there. My kids love being able to see the animals and especially Kili safari.

Almost always, no. In my experience, Epcot and MK usually have their shows at the same time or within an hour or so (which makes it tough given Disney transportation unless you are lucky with the Epcot/TTC monorail.) And DHS fireworks typically overlap with Epcot whether MK does or not. But keep an eye on showtimes and maybe you could see most of two of the shows (assuming you aren't particular about the view as you won't have much time to be picky about finding a spot.)

Now, I can say that Magic Kingdom is my favorite, but animal kingdom is my second. I have not been to Epcot. btw your channel is so helpful

Besides the rides, animal kingdom for me was 5/10. It was hot and humid which made it not her comfortable for me. And we wanted to park hop by 11AM..

Disney’s animal Kingdom is good. I just wish they had snow leopards because snow leopards are very well-known animals from Asia. and if the cats can’t handle the humidity they could just make indoor exhibits for them.

Everest is my fav ride....

What I love most about Animal Kingdom is DinoLand. Compared to Universal, Disney is seriously lacking in the dinosaur content and really need to keep up. DinoLand 4ever!
