I have a friend on AJ who used to be a scammer but decided to change for the better, though she got judged for her past scamming and people still said or are saying things like "well at least I didn't go through that phase". Please do not judge people for their pasts scamming, and be grateful that the changed for the better.

I’ll admit- I was never a scammer. I have had thoughts about scamming back when I was scammed multiple times. But I’ve never actually done it. I was too scared to and the guilt was also most of the reason why I didn’t do it. I used to know someone who was a really good person. They got scammed out of double tail and they were so pissed they scammed someone for a double with a trust. Now they were so guilty of it they decided to quit AJ. Some scammer aren’t bad people but some are. I’ve never been into scamming

I don't trade anymore, I just think it's far too stressful and irritating, so I typically just buy whatever I want if I can, and try not to get too interested/attached to newer items I can't get, like the alpha items. Back when I did trade, though, one of the scams I saw a lot, and was even almost tricked by, was the one where the scammer will offer one really good item for one of yours, then add a bunch of other low-value items until their side of the trade is full, and sneakily remove the good item before pressing the accept button. I was lucky enough to notice what they'd done because it seemed a little sketchy, but I know lots of other people aren't so fortunate.

I honestly just go to "My shop explorer" I think it's called like that, I buy low priced items and resell it for a little bit more, I have gotten almost 200 saphires in a week and With my own hard work, It is indeed easier and less stressfull, back when shops didn't exist I just had to dance in the saphire shop and saying "Trading ____ for ____" it was really stressful also when the chat option was added I really didn't like it idk why though but I stopped trading when the chat feature was added, Now I'm just buying and reselling so in the future I can get rares from the shop that normally cost 2k+ on the shop

After a bit, we did it and I got the siren glitch because I clicked the the sapphire increase button too fast. I CHOSE not to go back afterwards, and after what i had done set in... i had a panic attack that sent me to the ER. this is slightly unrelated but i stopped playing animal jam years ago bc the trading system sucked the life out of me. i’ve realised since then that these game models (avatar creators, chat system, and rarity systems) contribute to the devolving of a game from a fun friends experience to just “be the rarest person” or “have the most valuable items” to have a sense of self worth. it’s a weird capitalist scheme and creates this odd virtual classist system. it isn’t just animal jam but games like neopets, club penguin, etc. i love games like these but the adamant grinding just to get items to have friends is tiring so i’ve been turned off. it’s usually rarity systems and membership that contribute most to this phenomena, i don’t blame games for having memberships bc companies need funding but not to the extent animal jam has gone to with not only membership but rarity.

Some scam methods you missed are the one I first fell victim to where they trade for an item and give a good deal then they say that they need to clear items for space then they take away the good items on the back. I've also seen someone try to say they are lazy so trade them this item and they will give the sapphires later. I don't think jammers trading for items for far less then their worth is a scam. I still think it should be said that some jammers try to far under trade for items and put on wanted items so you think they know the worth. Also I want to say I agree scammers can change I don't like scamming by any means but ive seen a few people talking with buddies about how they used to be a scammer but they changed. Happy to say ive only been scammed once and it was for red double tsunami wings my first good item I got.

tbh after leaving this game for years and then coming back to it for nostalgia, i really just dont care for rares or trading at all anymore. im older now and in highschool (currently 9th grade) and i remember how upset i was to be scammed out of an item i worked so hard for. I always wanted to be rare, like having raccoon tails, dj headsets, archer hat etc. and what not, (personally imo these items are ugly and basic and i prefer the more niche/weirder items that wild works releases LOL) and now looking back at it, it's so funny how upset i was from having a pixel in my inventory taken away from me. yeah at the time it sucked like hell, but once AJ is gone, all of that work and investment is basically gone with it. instead of worrying about rares, why not just enjoy what you have at the current moment instead, those rare items aren't going anywhere anytime soon, and might even drop in rarity as well since the community works in weird ways when it comes to pixels LOL. anyways thats my story uhh bye GNDJKSHEJ🏃💨

I remember when I was still playing Aj, I was working really hard to get a sheep cloak. It was my dream item. I went to a "giveaway" and it got scammed. I was devastated, but I eventually got over it. This story has a happy ending, though. I was in the Pillow Room telling a buddy about what happened. Then I got a Jam-a-gram with a gift. I opened it to find that someone had given me a sheep cloak. The person who gave it to me was such a good person. The sheep cloak is still on my avatar to this day. If by any chance that person is reading this, it's Topasjaguar, thank you so much for giving me your sheep cloak. It's still my favorite item on that game, and I'll always be grateful for your generosity.

There is one other type of scamming- well, I call it scamming but I'm not sure if it falls into the category. Someone will create a new account, and instantly make it a 'new jammer', then go around the pillow room or other places in Jamaa saying: "Please trade me rares/items I'm new!" And people actually DO fall for that, or think: eh, its not too bad... And trade their items away. In fact I remember just a few days ago someone had traded a 'new jammer' their pixelated wings (the actual item name) they were wearing. It gets super annoying because most of the new jammers in ajpw ALL have main accounts.

Yeah. There are a lot of scams, but I rlly wanted to share this Sometimes people lie like "mega drop in my den! dropping over 50 potions!", he was a new jammer. A level 1 monkey, default. And than when everyone was in his den.. On the floor there was rugs making a writing " N4z1" Uncensored. Everyone freaked out, and when he came he said.. "Come worship our Lord h1tl3r for sapphires", and the kids fell for it. They actually worshiped him, and the other jammers who knew where panicking. And the moment they were worshipping, he left. I'm scared if he has an alternative account also influencing other people badly.. These ja..ers aren't even trolls. Theyre just trying to spread bad messages and it irritates me. His den had hearts all over which he represented as "bleeding hearts" mvrd3r, though its not what the painted hearts were for. I honestly cant-..

When I was new to aj, very new, I had few friends but I was very attached to them cause I was so excited to have some new friends. Some of my friends were toxic but I was a dumb little kid and didn't realize how rude they were being to me, and by this time I bought some pom-pom earings with an amazing color cause they looked adorable! I had this one toxic friend who noticed them and begged for my to trade them to her so that she could try them on and then give them back, but I wasn't a total idiot, this was a scam and I knew it! But I only had about 5 people in my buddy list and I have had some good times with this person so I didn't want to unfriend them, but I should've unfriended them and left their den before anything bad happened. I should've taken that red flag. But I didn't. You see, I told them "No sorry," cause I didn't wanna get scammed. They continued to beg and plead to "try them on" and that they would give them back, I continued to say no though. At this point I was getting frustrated, I should've told them No and left them but I didn't want to abandon my "friend" when I should've, so I gave them the pom-pom earings and saw them put them on, and then left! They didn't unbuddy me or lock me out of their den, they just left! I didn't know you could report jammers at that time so I just left their den and started crying cause I knew that this would happen. I unbuddied them immediately, but that scammer was stupid, cause pom-pom earings were in-store so all I had to do was play some mini games and buy them again. I never got scammed ever again, but now I'm level 33 and super rare and I make sure to help the people who get scammed cause my eyes are open now.

In other case, when you make a trade with someone and they are both concerned with what got, it is as it should. But can happen that the person changes his/her mind and wants to trd back. It wasn't fair but, gave the item back and she gave mine... or perhaps that jammer wanted to put a test and see. The test is good because the jammer can understand and trd back and the same time bad because it saddes him/her.

I'll admit it, I scam. And I still do, no matter how much I try to stop- knowing that it's a crappy thing to do. I personally got scammed, and was left with really nothing. I tried watching tutorials, videos, seeking help to my friends, nothing helped. That's when I noticed that Aj wasn't the same when you're not rare. You don't get noticed, no one helps you, no one trades you, it's not the best experience. So, I turned to scamming. I loved scamming ( And still do, ) It made me so happy. It gave me this feeling I've never experienced. It was addicting, what started to a few scams here and there, not any kind of big items- But, when I did it more and more, I started to get better- getting more and better items, made me feel more, the better the item, the better I felt. Mostly because of my awful mental health throughout 2020 to the end of 2021. It was like something to distract me from what was going on with my life. I'm fine now, of course. I don't see myself quitting any time soon, hopefully though. I realize why and how it's wrong, I would appreciate some kind of advice- if any of you guys have any. Thanks for talking about the horrible hate to scammers though. It's not rare to be yelled at, sent death threats and more- it doesn't really affect me but other people as well could be hurt from those kinds of comments and messages. But again, thanks. Have a great day and night.

I once accidentally scammed in a Roblox game called “Creatures Of Sonaria”. I was trading for a Keruku, an extremely rare and expensive creature to get, many consider it the most rare creature to own, since it came from buying things with Robux in the Beta phase of the game. I offered to add a few other decent items after the first trade, since you could only trade a few items at the time. After that, when they accepted and I got it, I got so excited that I pressed the button to go back to the main game, since the trading is in a separate server. A few minutes later, I realized I forgot to offer to give them the other decent items. I feel so guilty, since I had told in my ad that I was willing to trade more. I remember looking for them for practically an hour straight, but I guess they must’ve left or I couldn’t find them, since I was never able to fully offer the entire trade. Besides my story, does any current or past scammer ever feel guilty for scamming? I felt terrible for possibly scamming someone, so have you guys ever felt bad?

Children are easily scammed because they're pretty gullible unfortunately. :( Being 24 sure has it's advantages. (yes I'm a 24 year old ♀️ and I love playing Animal Jam) The scams are super obvious to me. Edit: Might be far fetched but the thing that bothers me about scammers is that it starts off in Animal Jam and it might inspire them to become real scammers. Maybe children will move on from scamming but teenagers on the other hand... That's just something I always thought about.. But either way, nobody deserves such hatred.

@@Clava_Vodeanuc Whoa dude, you took my idea right off my mind :o But yeah, I'd be nice if someone would talk about the much older players of AJ. There's not that much as kids/teens but there's some around, such as myself. And whenever there are, kids will freak out and think we're in it for targeting children... It's like we have a bad reputation, thanks to the notorious predators of this game :( From experience, if I had to mention my age kids will react to the following: •Will believe I'm lying about my age •Will freak out (and maybe even report me?) •Will mention how "It's a kid's game, you shouldn't be playing it" •Most importantly and yet again, will think I'm lying of my age I try to teach children AJ can be fun for everyone but most of the time I get negative responses. It sucks that society doesn't expect young adults such as myself to enjoy fun, cute and innocent games such as AJ. They expect us to play rated M games at best :/

@@A_Random_Shroob I feel this kind of pain, even tho I'm close to 20s, I want and feel the need to be a child, or at least teenager, and young adults can look like teenagers, so there is hope. And most... yes, you got the major age, may have more responsibilities than before but you don't change overnight. You are still the kid you wanted to be, if you want to be (some). :,) And in my opinion, the ages 20-28 you still can be a teen. If in our souls is desire to be a big kid, may bring it outside on our faces, with positively and healt, of course. ^_^ And yessss, some, especially the little children have in mind (probably from their parents or seeing in other places) that once your at that "grown up age", you can't play, you can't look at Disney, you can't do that anymore, etc. Or not necessarily what they hear or see... majority of them think that it's much better to be grown up and do whatever you want (rights) but I'm not saying that you must depend only from your parents, just, childhood is youth, magical and innocent. Now, about the game, yea, bots, predators... how can we be so sure if all of them are adults? Teenagers as well which they are practically kids. (Sigh) For now, all we have to do is: hiding the age, and say "yes, I'm a child" even tho the jammer will think not, it matters what you think, what you feel.

I’ll admit, I have scammed, and I still do. Barely though, but I don’t really think it’s okay sometimes. Scamming is scamming, and it’s not okay. I do feel guilty sometimes whenever I scam, but personally, scamming is fun. I don’t do it for rares, I do it for fun. It’s funny seeing children cry and get worked up a lot over virtual items, but again, it’s not that funny. That’s why I barely scam, but I still like getting entertained. Also, I appreciate how you actually stand up whenever a scammer gets death threatened a lot. I respect your opinion, and I am planning to stop soon. Just trying to get the feeling out of me. But yeah, that’s the end. Thank you Leamon, for actually thinking before speaking.

Another one I used (after falling for it myself) to do was two accounts, one saying I could manipulate the item color using a client, *but* I needed a copy of the item first. Then I’d act it out with 2 other accounts and see if anyone else would step up. 10 years later I wish that I could find their usernames but it’s been to long, they’ve probably moved on and gained the same trust issues I gained with that game.

I've scammed someone before, it was on classic. I don't usually play classic and only play mobile. I was extremely angry of how I was rare in mobile AJ but not in classic even though I barley played it. I ended up scamming a black long, red long, and a few short collars that I don't remember. I also scammed a person by asking if I could try it on, the item was a headdress. I don't remember the color as I rarely get on classic anymore. I'm not going to lie, I don't feel that guilty about it, but at the same time I do feel slightly bad and often think about how those jammers had felt when I scammed their items. I used a spare account so my main wouldn't get exposed or banned. I know I'm bad for not feeling guilty but for some reason I can't get myself to feel even more sad or upset. Tbh I feel good for myself, now I've been scammed multiple times in the past before. It's a horrible feeling and I know that, I also wanted to scam those items because I was angry and extremely sad I was sad, kinda wanted to get revenge even though the jammers I scammed did nothing wrong. I don't scam anymore as I don't play classic, and I only play mobile. And I'm decently rare on mobile. I've never thought about scamming again after I scammed that headdress and don't really want to anymore. I'm sorry that I don't feel guilty for scamming those people

This happened over a year ago) asked me my dream item and my favorite colors. I said spiked collar, and dark gray and blue. They traded me a blue long for a not very rare item and gifted me a black long. I was so excited I genuinely was having trouble making comprehensive words. Less then twenty four hours later I fell for a trust trade giveaway scam. They had another person saying they were legit, probably a friend or an alt account. There was another time where I had a friend who didn’t really play much anymore who gave me a pink long spike and wrist. I also fell for a trust trade giveaway scam.

I've been playing basically since beta days, I started playing I think December 2015, I scammed basically since trading was introduced. I had used it as a coping mechanism for my parents divorce, my abusive father and stepfather, my neglectful mother and many other problems I dont wish to share as they are far too personal. I stopped scamming maybe 7 months ago after my best buddy on the entire game got scammed, by someone using the same method I did (which, was lying about worth to new/inactive players) after I saw how much pain that caused him I quit scamming, and im so very glad I did. I am terribly ashamed for what I have done in the past, it makes me sick thinking about it. I really appreciate that you include the segment of it being a coping mechanism.

When I was 11, way back in like 2016 when the game has freshly came out and the rarity system was WAY different to what it currently is - play wild was my whole life and I spent hours upon hours upon hours trading and working up for items - me and my two best friends would constantly help eachother (since we knew eachother irl) my bestie would gift me really huge items like crossbow, heart antenna etc and I could never thank them enough for that because, as a child, it made me so happy! I vividly remember a time when one of my friends was at my house and we worked together from her phone to scam a person out of their butterfly wings (back then they were SUPER rare) and it was an awful feeling! I had a massive feeling of adrenaline, guilt, shame, and even though it wasn’t me scamming directly (I was watching and helping her what to say while she was doing it on her phone) I swore to never do that again because I myself got scammed off my butterfly wings later that year! Just goes to show that karma is really there to haunt you - and a lot of younger scammers are really just very complexed. While yes it is an awful thing to scam, we have to understand most scammers are probably having an awful life if they go as far as projecting that and trying to unfairly steal items from people in a silly online game, I’m not saying it’s excusable but it’s understandable. Somewhere along the timeline I remember being scammed out of a black tipped raccoon and black bow tie - that ultimately shattered my hopes for trading and I haven’t been actively working towards any big items since :,3 I find it easier to grind for items now (alpha chests farming, pet expeditions, buying directly from shops, doing commissions etc) as it’s a solo one person job and I don’t have to rely on trusting anyone to be fair anymore lol

I even had their user memorized for a while, but not anymore since i flat out quit after the mess with Feral. At that time too, freedom wings were a dream item of mine since i was a non-member, unable to get membership, and i loved the dragon wings because i thought they were so neat. Swords too, and when i learned there were non-member variants of those, of course i wanted them. This was also before freedom wings started coming back to stores. I was really upset at the time, but a good friend of mine gave me another pair not long after. They were a pretty rare jammer at the time, but they were super nice. We've since stopped talking, but i still have them as a buddy on my buddy list.

I used to be so exited to get home from school, and go watch the stream. On the day the candy cavern den came out. (Or some time around that) I got picked, I was so excited! I ended up getting a red dj headset as a reward the next day when I logged in. I treasured it because it was an item from my idol at that time. Although about a year down the line I got scammed. How it worked was, The scammer gave back everyone’s items, until it got really good. Even giving back den plaques. Although I was dumb enough to make the trade, and they locked there den. Everyone that was there lost there items. I remember being so devastated as a kid, I started crying. I was desperate to work back up to get a similar item. ( to replace the one I lost) Perhaps not a red dj, but a dj non the less. I started advertising that I was looking to trade for a dj. Although unfortunately the person that was “helping” me get a dj, used my desperate state to scam me from my den betas. Talk about a bad week. It’s ok though because since then I received a rc tail from ajhq a year or two later so, I no longer look for a dj. I also gained back the worth of the other items I lost through Shops. I’m quite happy now, although I tend to stay away from trading. -sorry for all the spelling errors

She was very vague when she explained how exactly she had done it but all I know was that she got people to tell them their passwords on emails. She stopped doing it recently because she is starting to have less time to log into every accounts and trade their items into her spares. At one point she wanted me to help her and she told me that she would pay me. I refused but I almost did considered doing it. I didn't do it because I didn't need money at all like how she needed it. She needed the money for an important personal reason. If I had a very important reason to really need the money, but in order to do that is to ruin little kids happy virtual life..... then I would. I had been scammed before and I cried, but I was glad that I had because I learned valuable lessons. I also learned to avoid Real life scams just from being scammed on Aj. Scamming is not okay but there is always a reason why people do it, in this case, my friend needed money ( not a "want", it was a need).

And even if you used to scam, saying no and stopping is still good, because it shows you can become better. And if one scammer turns away from scamming, surely others can too. Honestly I hate that scamming exists, but I agree with leamon puppy. No ones perfect, so why should you expect perfection? And before i knew it, everyone that loved me for my rares started to vanish. I was so upset that one day i decided i would scam my way back up to the worth. Trust me, it was NOT worth it- i recived a lot of hate for it and evently stopped, i also quite aj for a long perioed of time before returing around 5 months later. I learned from my mistakes and now im back up to being rare again, and i have real friends now too. So dont go off and scam, its just not/ never the best choice. ( sorry for the mispells- i typed this in a hurry lol)

As someone who has been scammed multiple times, and has even accidentally scammed someone out of their pet squirrel, I totally agree with what you have to say. This game- certainly threw me for a loop. Having survived a bunch of trauma in my childhood, AJ was a coping mechanism for me. Unfortunately, after seeing a cami’s frog story video, I got addicted to getting this one frog plushie and was willing to do some downright NEFARIOUS stuff, including making up a DISEASE just to get one. This was years ago, and whilst I’m not doing too better mentally, I’m out of that situation and I don’t really play AJ anymore. Just goes to show that some of this stuff is, in fact, a coping mechanism. Doesn’t mean you shouldn’t call one out on it, but still.

Ive been scammed about 28 times in animal jam and due to being mad about it I have trust issues and have scammed a couple of times on animal jam a year or 2 ago before I quit animal jam. I had stopped scamming ever since I feel guilty still to this day and i refuse to make spares and such, I cannot take anything about scamming people I have become a better person and im upset how mean I was back then just because of pixels on a screen getting scammed then being mad. Recently about 2 months ago I came back and have been scammed about 4-6 more times because im more gullable for being tricked because I do not know my worth at all so my friends have been helping me.

Leamon, you missed one lol. Its one where you go up to someone, say you will give them a really good item if they get an item from someone else (2nd scammer) and then they will trade that 2nd person for their item and get scammed. its really similar to the one in the video but its a bit different :) (this is how i got scammed a while ago- 😭)

I used to be a scammer back when I actually used to play the game. I used a method which wasn’t mentioned in this video, and i see why, it’s a really uncommon way of scamming. I used a chrome extension called tampermonkey, which was a script editor and would allow me to gain access to any one’s account without the use of a username or password. This was back in 2016 or so, so I don’t have a strong memory of how I did it, but it included the person I was scamming giving me their token (which is a really long string of characters) so I could then put their token in the place of mine and boom I was in their account. I was a kid around the age of 12 - 13 years old. I guess it could be classed as more of a hack?

i was a kid. but let me tell you that it's either the ppl that i scammed is a kid like me and easily trust others, i was terrifyingly smart yes that sounds weird but i do regret what i did, i eventually sell all of my scammed items and i haven't been playing ever since 2018 _(but i played once again, for nostalgia reasons)_ now if you asked me why did i call 'my kid self terribly smart?' is because i'll buddy the people that had the good items i wanted, be friendly, talkative, and play games with them. usually a week, maybe a day or two. then i finally make my move to _"trust trade"_ with them, and they'll fall for it. gosh even remembering it makes me wanna will-smith-slap myself, not only was i scamming, but i manipulate those people into thinking I'm their _"best friend"_ and fall into a false sense of security i am still baffled how my childish mind can come up with those ideas.. i was horrible, and good thing i sold off and did giveaways with those items, i don't know what will i feel if i saw it. i don't want to ask any forgiveness as it is too late, but i just wanna say please don't scam, yes you'll feel happy with those items you'll get, but at the end of the day. it doesn't have any worth or usefulness for you.

I rarely trade anymore. Recently after a year of not being online I decided to join a server, and when I got a trade request in the pillow room someone was wanted my feathered ears item or smth like those little feathers that go on the back of your animals ears? Well I accepted the request thing and they started adding items you get when you first join the game. I said "nty this is an unfair trade." And they go OMG NO IM SO OVER YOUR SCAMMING MEEEEE" obviously i wasn't. I was not sure what they where trying to do to be honest. After they declined the trade they started spamming "YOUR SO PICKY!!!! THAT WAS A FAIR TRADE!!! YOUR SO RUDE!!!!" and I was like uh- no- you where adding beginner items for my feathered ears- and said it wasn't fair- then she left the pillow room not sure if she didnt think I knew what worth was but yea interesting story in my opinion.

I'll be honest- I've been very, and I mean VERY tempted to scam before. I had this one buddy I was super close with (Ergalu if you see this I still miss you) and he/she/they were kind enough to let me "borrow" their Ancient Dragon Set. I didn't have enough sapphires at the time, I was a fairly new and younger jammer at the time, so worth didn't mean much to me. But, this set meant so much to me. I swear. The unique animation it gave you when you wore it, the overall theme, I was also starting my Wings of Fire phase during that time. I was so tempted to keep it. But I thought to myself how I'd never, ever be able to cope with the guilt. I did end up giving it back anyways and promising to myself that I would eventually trade up for the whole set. Almost 4 years later, after trading up, I finally have it, and in a way I'm proud of. I did get some pretty good deals finding each of the pieces that I'm happy with. And to any scammers out there, I'll be honest; I don't hate you. Maybe a bit pitiful to some of the more toxic scammers (which have affected one of my more recent friends out of some good items recently) I understand for a while it can give you joy, but believe me. After a while, it's gonna end. All those rares will mean nothing to you. You might even have to start anew on a new platform so you can experience that joy again. Wow, did I really type in that much? Anyways, kudos to anyone who really did read that whole thing. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

My scam comment: I had once scammed- but this was with my irl friend and I was pretty much forced to do it as I was too scared of her to do anything about it. This was way back in 2019, one time we were just scamming some people when we scammed this girls daredevil scarf. When she kicked us out, I remember the girl who got scammed was just so upset, crying, and I could tell it was really precious to her. Yes I know they're 'just pixels' but its really nice to have them, they make an have something else to do. In that moment, I realized how terrible it was and I so badly wanted to tell her, 'sure I can give this back to you, I'm sorry we scammed you!' But thinking about my friend, I didn't want to betray her- she'd literally try to choke me the next day- But she really was nice other times, and I really believed she wasn't a bad person so I didn't want to expose her... So I just left. We continued scamming as usual until school started the next year. That time I literally burst into tears and just confessed everything to her- and thankfully, she stopped scamming! But with that, after covid started, aka the next year starring 2021 she quit ajpw, and with that I never saw her again, irl or ig. Like I said before, she really was a nice person in heart, its just so many people scam because of the jealousy of not being able to have the items you wanted. I never again scammed, and in fact I'm trying to help a friend of mine who stopped scamming a long time ago but still feels the urge to do it! I do believe, like you do leamon, that rather scammers aren't bad themselves, (aj of course) but its just scamming itself that's not a great thing to do. Everyone has their own choice. We shouldn't try to rule them over :)

I haven't scammed but I have hacked ( Btw I was like 7 lol ) I regret what I did but I was trying to get into my friends accounts. I didn't want to hack but I was using their usernames for passwords and I got in. I will not name the account but I was super jealous because they had galaxy wings, home theater ect. So I took some ( by some I meant most ) and soon they caught onto me and wanted their stuff back so I gave them back. But again my little self hacked again the same person and everything and that time I still gave them back. Now that I've been hacked before I now know how it felt for them when I hacked them and now I regret doing everything I did and now I know how it feels to be hacked :)

Two years ago when I was playing animal jam I decided to do some trading in the pillow room and/or do a roleplay if there was one being hosted. Then I saw someone saying "pet for pet" which means they wanted to trade there pet for someone else's pet. Unless that's what you think they where trying to do. So I decided to trade them my pink and purple crocodile and then clicked then clicked the accept button under Neath since I didn't mind what pet I get. Which was when I made a mistake! I thought They where Putting there pet on trade as well but instead they clicked the accept button too! So they basically scammed me. After I realised what happened I blocked and reported there account. I ended up crying in my den about the worst mistake I made for the rest of my day. Luckily my nicest buddy was there to make sure I was okay. But I'm still annoyed about my mistake. I don't remember much about the player but I do remember that they where a wolf and there username was "namer"

I've been scammed before, twice actually, once was when I was kinda new so I didn't know any better, I don't remember what scam they used to get my items but all I remember is they took a few items like galaxy wings, water wings etc, I never got them back unfortunately tho, however the scammer did weirdly add me after years, I STILL Kinda dislike them tho, 2nd scam was done by my bff, she took my ancient dragon set, unbuddied me, and I think locked her den and got off, I was sad, but after years, me and my new friends decided to visit her den and do something which I dont remember what it was, however, that day, the scammer came back online and admitted that the reason she took my set was because her brother really really liked that set and saw I had it, so she took mine, I didn't trust her at first, then she told me to put bad on, I still didn't trust her but my new friends told me to put bad on regardless, so I did, and my old bff actually gave me a pair of Forest Gauntlets! The teal ones, I was so happy that day, However I quit the game a long time ago, but when I did log on, I saw she unbuddied me again, I still miss her, she scammed me but she was still such a good friend, that's all I cared about.

The closest thing to scamming I've done is probably that someone asked me to trade them a super Sapphire potion and I did not I gave them double payout potion which is obviously completely different I told them that that potion would be able to double the sapphire Awards you get for playing mini games which you can see next to the games menu below the Buddy game button and from there it would give you double The Sapphires if I'm not too mistaken so I was hoping that they wouldn't give anything in exchange for my four double payout potions and my glow potion that I just attached and hope they didn't see so they ended up giving me several crafting crystals that I hope they were just dying to get rid of and I also gave me a dense snow portion that I actually used and I liked

i have never scammed [well, if you don't count that one time i tried to, but failed and got nothing lol], but when a recent animal jam breach happened, ALL of my items are gone, not a bow or a pet to spare. i had played animal jam since 2016 and have recently been falling out of the community, but it kind of... hurts? i had personal attachments to some of my pets, and some of my items [i.e. my visor..] and i haven't gotten on because it feels like animal jam and my happy memories have been ripped away from me...

someone stole 11 bucks from me and so i stole something from everyone in the class. it all back fired and then even the teacher accused me of stealing a envelope of money from her. At that point i kinda did feel like stealing that envelope and destroying the money inside just because they blamed me for such a thing but that would just prove them right and encourage their and my own behavior.. so like the coward i am i just moved to a new country and school trying to escape my past.

this was a crossing game scam that someone did to me so this person was like "trading headdress for lots of things in AJPW on AJC because I dont play anymore" and I was like ok that seems legit I mean like why would they want a headdress on here if they only play AJPW now and I myself dont play AJPW anymore and only AJC so I was like this is perfect so I went ahead and jagged them and said I would give them everything I have on there because I dont play anymore anyways for the headdress and they jagged back with "omg ok!" and so we went to each others dens on both apps and she had me trade all my items to her pets, clothes, den items, pet clothes, and anything else and had me give all my sapphires to her and then she left both games without giving me the headdress which I honestly had a gut feeling that that would happen but at the moment it just seemed legit and made sense so I didn't listen to my gut feeling anyways I really wish I hadn't done that now because I'm getting back into PW but its whatever at the end of the day its all just on a screen in a game that could crash and break at any minute and where everyone could loose everything as for real life your experiences and things you do normally matter a lot more so I'm not devastated about it just kind of torn a bit because I trusted that person for some reason and they didn't follow through I honestly hope I can sometime talk to them again and ask why they scam but they of course wont jag me back because yk they scammed me lol anyways this is getting too long thats my story byeeee

But like you said once you get that item that you oh so desperately wanted it feels like your done, you completed the game… But anyways, thank you for talking about the 2 person scam, That’s how I lost my jammailday wings.
