Of all versions of this song, and all of Ani's music...this is by far one of her greatest. The flow and chord manipulations are incredible. After listening to Ani for about 18 yrs., I still can't believe that somoeone could be so talented.

I love this song so much. Speaks to me so much. I did a dance solo to this when I was 15 or so. I cried while on stage, this song still brings me to tears. Thank you so much for giving us such a great quality video for this song. So beautiful.

The first time I heard *about* Ani DiFranco it made no impression on me... a good friend going to New York to hear her. The first time I heard her was totally different. A few years later a work-mate played an album (I have no idea which) on the way to a camping trip. I was hooked from the trip back through till now. She is under-appreciated for her poetry, musical styling, live play (her live concerts are even better than studio recordings), and righteous babe presence.

i just cried my eyes out. Ani is a vessel through which so many women and mothers speak through :) THANK YOU FOR THIS.

@msbadkitty im sorry you feel that way. whatever you think hes saying he is and which he probably isnt, doesnt affect his music. hes one of the most sane people in the semi mainstream in the music industry today. he made himself who he is, out of coffee shops, college campus'. hes been touring for almost 20 years NON STOP. hell go go three shows without repeating a single song. his music is about love, discovering who you are, and to seize the day at any cost. im sorry your missing that.
