One nice detail: the opening chant is Angus's name six times. Really living up to the McSix name there.

One of my favorite songs on the album. This is made to make the crowd chant "Angus!" with this. It certainly gives the impression Angus is going to play a bigger, important role in this universe. And lore-wise, this is the last part of the story (the tracklist was not in lore order).

I'm the only one who thinks this song is similar to the AC/DC song "Thunderstruck", only instead of "thunder" it turns out to be "Angus", but oh well, this amazing song. Good verses, a fantastic chorus (which this picture suits just right) and an epic narrator's verse. Thanks for sharing this!

@@DevilMaster but Behold! Hope is BACK! IN BLACK and Gold! They went straight past the easy double rhyme: But Behold: Hope is Back! In Gold! and Black Its def. a deliberate reference to inspiration- but nobody would confuse the songs.

Not to mention the named character is named Angus just like Angus Young from AC/DC. Edit: Perhaps this was the inspiration for the character's name and even the original Gloryhammmer setting of Scotland. Let me know if I'm wrong.

@@MandaloreEN This is what Christopher Bowes wrote on Reddit about the name Angus McFife: "In 2009 while Alestorm was on tour with Tyr, Heri Joensen (singer of Tyr) told me the tale of a Scottish man he knew who worked in a fish factory in the Faroe Islands (where Heri comes from). Apparently this guy was a murderer and it was big news in the Faroes for a while. Anyway Heri told me his name was Angus McFife, which I thought was the stupidest name I'd ever heard (since Angus and Fife are both places in Scotland). I decided to create an elaborate backstory for this guy and Gloryhammer was born."

It takes a bit to really let the full power of the chorus sweep over you, I think, I had a similar experience.

am i the only one who instead of Angus hears hellgast ?

I prefer the live version at Wacken it's much more POWERFUL
