Had no clue how he was going to squeeze a good Halloween episode out of the Bernstein/stain bears. Personally think he did.
It's Bernstein Bears and I'll die on that hill haha 😂😆
RIP AVGN from IDK dimension
I always saw it as Berenstain!
The Mandela effect got me too! I remember thinking that Curious George had a tail, but he doesn’t. Same thing with Bond movie where there’s a girl whom I thought had braces 😬
I always find it funny when the Berenstain Bear plushies killed off the bloodstain nerd 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I *_SWEAR_* THAT IT WAS BERENSTEIN. BERENSTAIN WAS _NEVER_ HOW I REMEMBERED IT. Really, I don't get why it swapped, to that. Really though, I'm happy that you reacted to this. This was my favorite Halloween special, from the Nerd.
And who can forget, the Berenstain Bears McDonalds toys !
The Mandela Effect is CRAZY..only part I don't agree with in a example is the one where apparently at some point Pikachu had a black tip on the end of his tail. Now I don't remember that at ALL but got me thinking, was it faked or was this another example of the effect?

The ears have black tips so maybe they just misremembered
Check out his X-MEN games he reviewed years ago.
🤯🤯🤯
I'm old enough to remember buying these books at the book fair back in my elementary school days. I honestly can't remember if it said 'Stain' or 'Stein'. I always wondered who wrote them and what they REALLY were about lol. Anyway I guess AVGN finally solved that mystery....
It was alway was berenstain but just no one was correcting on how to actually say it
This is one of those incidents where it becomes believable if you hear something for so long. I remember hearing people say Berenstein for years but seeing images of old books they all say Berenstain. This proves that if you hear a lie long enough it becomes true.
Good Lord, this is sooooooooo much better than Blood and Honey
I must be one of the rare few that always knew it was spelled “Berenstain”. Even my mom tried to correct me as a kid and, because I had such a know-it-all attitude back then, I ended up correcting her. Subconsciously, we all see a supposed German name and we naturally assume that’s how it’s supposed to be spelled, like “Frankenstein”. It’s not faulty memory at all; it’s faulty expectation. We expected it to be “stein” without any evidence otherwise. It was all our fault for making assumptions. It was “Berenstain” the whole time.
