Stupid question here from a guy who knows very little about snakes. From the videos I see on this and other You Tube channels that have to do with snake breeding, the snakes seem to live in enclosures that pretty much look like large drawers. So it does not seem like they have much room to move around, yet they seem very muscular. How do snakes get so "buff" if they just lay around in their little areas all day? Is their muscles built mainly by them constricting their food before swallowing it?

I don't understand why you don't make the counter top deep enough to accommodate the nest box instead of making someone hold it in place EVERY SINGLE TIME you remove the snake to retrieve the eggs??? It would be such an easy fix.

Lack of competition, the burmese pythons aren't native to that area and don't have natural predators to keep the numbers in check like they would in their natural habitat.
