Great video for young kids!! Handled the situation perfectly!! That’s probably how most of all got started fishing! Get permission and offer to help out around the place in exchange for fishing! I carried a weed eater and a push mower around with me and kept the edge of the pond manicured. Showed I was willing to work for it and made it easier for me to cast and land fish. I soon heard a quad bike roll up behind me, looked over my shoulder and saw an elderly man with a shotgun next to my truck. Needless to say I had some explaining to do. Old man turned out to be chilled and admitted to not having his property signs up. Caught a fatty of a 10 pounder on a berkley 110 gilly🤙🏻

Kudos to you and that owner it takes a lot to swallow your pride drive up to someones house that you just chewed out and apologize and admit you were wrong and acted like an ass, and then to turn around and still honor his son's permission and let you fish there

Lesson here is always get the FULL MAME of the person giving permission. I will un-sub creators who promote trespassing. If anglers don't undo all the negativity going on with fishermen and land owners/managers, we will loose our fishing spots. Thanks for explaining and handling this. 👍
