If there are children on the track you don't see them either? It's amazing that he said that. The whole reason for going to the track is to have a safe environment. If there are children on the track and you hit them, it's that guy's fault for letting them in.

With that sun angle and high-speeds.. it would be pretty crazy to tell that You are being flagged down unless someone intentionally stands on the track and tells you to pit which someone did at the end.

He first asks if you have vision problems (lol). Then he says he is in the straight line, and he has shown the black flag 5 times, and that the bike is way too loud, with a db level of 103.6 instead of 101. And at the end, he basically makes fun of you saying that if there was a child on the track, you wouldn't see him neither. I hope I helped you understand the situation :)

Actually that day there was a DB Limit of 92 or 94 at 1/2 max rpm, luckily he had my ticket with an allready absolved DB measurement for my bike, so he just took my DB-sticker. :D

Rather than blaming the old man, ask yourself guys, what happens if all riders overpass the DB limit? Well easy to guess, neighbourhood comity will stop trackdays activity on the circuit and no more fun on track! As simple as this!

@@ecrxxjoker7716 totally false. The circuit is quite recent and the village was there already. People around do not live because of it. They have nothing to with circuit and track events. If you want to see the track from high, check my videos in my youtube channel. I did record a pass above the circuit during one of my flight I like to do in this area 😉

I won't translate everything but he basically asked if you were blind, then he told you you were at 103.6dB's instead of 101, he said that he showed you the black flag 5 times over the pitlane wall and I assumed you said or 'showed him' with gestures that you didn't see the flags and then he said 'if there was a child on the track, you wouldn't see it either, he would be dead'. I find the last part very silly and ignorant.Anyway, nice video and riding as usual, keep it up man!

Tracks are often close-ish to residential areas and that's one of the conditions for such tracks to be allowed to stay opened, meaning vehicles on it can't go beyond some noise level. That's not always the case ofc, but quite often it is.

I also have an R6 and if you want to ride at mettet, you need a dB killer, go all the way left on the straightl and shift up a gear before the measuring post. I still got very close to 101 dB by doing all that, propably because an r6 has the exhaust pointed directly at them when you pass them. Also when you just go over the 101dB they wont kick you out just give you a warning. You propably would also just have had a warning if you would have seen the black flag and came in, but these marshalls there work for the government and are typically very anoying people... Also another tip, the last 2 sessions of the day they sometimes stop measuring because they want to go home :p so you can go full race mode then ;) Edit: just read your description :p, very strange that the marshall ran on track ye

then why would you open the track near the populated area anyway if you gonna have sound problem it's so dumb as well as why the children will be around in track ? some old people and some rules really does not make any sense :P

zandvoort Netherlands has the same thing. Aswell as some Karting circuits. Noise regulations for nearby villages. Only on a few occasions the limits can be ignored for a day. However every other day the rules are verry strict.

As others have said, its because of people living around the track. Heck, in Circuit Zolder in Belgium, there are apartments right on the edge of the main straight! They can watch all the races for free though :P And the noise limits are surprisingly low in Belgium, Netherlands and France. On particular days they increase the limits. And its not just for hobby trackdays, even competition races have to abide by the shitty noise limits :/ Germany usually has higher limits. To conclude, you can be as loud as F22 fighter jets on public roads and nobody gives a shit. You fart too loudly in race tracks and you will be sent home :/

In this case the mettet track is on the side of a small hill, when the wind comes from the south you can hear the bikes up to 5km's away (source: the DB killer guy told me this once when i had a friendly chat with him) also most of the bike track days are sunday/monday/tuesday especially on sunday they can be very hard on your ass for a loud bike...

ganz links bin ich auch zu laut, ich muss echt Halbgas geben ganz links und in den 6. schalten. Deswegen geb ich nen **** im 6. Turn. Ich zahle Geld dafür und wurde wegen nem DB zu viel (ganz links) verwarnt. Durfte dann 5 Turns Halbgas fahren. Sollen sie froh sein dass ich noch nen Killer drinne hatte und nicht im Begrenzer vorbeifuhr O:)

Was für eine Anlage hast du denn auf der R6? Für mich fährst du eher in der Mitte als ganz links. Der Typ war bei uns letzte mal eigentlich sehr kulant, erst wenn man mehrmals zu laut war, hat man die schwarze Flagge gesehen

Trick #25 Habe keine aktuellen Vids aus Mettet , nur als ich mein Moped neu hatte hab ich mal gefilmt 🤣 Fahre normal entweder ganz nah am der Mauer vorbei , das gibt aber ja Probleme und deswegen fahre ich immer recht links orientiert auf der Geraden. Ich fahr einen Shark Factory (müsste es sein) und ein M4 Y-Rohr , hab also noch 2 Kats und das macht oft den Unterschied

Trick #25 Jaa , der Typ ist auch normal nicht unfreundlich , der freut sich immer wenn ich da bin . Aber egal wie ich suf der Geraden fahre , es ist wohl meistens zu laut. Bei der letzten Veranstaltung bin ich weit links gefahren und immer Vollgas , da kam komischerweise nix von ihm , aber paar Stunden vorher 1m weiter rechts 😂

We have no stupid noise level limits here in Canada. Mind you our tracks are far from civilization. You should hear some of the 1/4 mile drag racing tracks in north America.The db level must be close to 200 for the top fuel and funny cars.

Almost all the tracks are closing here in quebec. I went to tremblant this summer and they have a noise limit at this track. People build their house near tracks and then complain about the noise level. This is stupid

Actually he was pretty cool about it. I have seen officials lose their shit before over smaller offenses. Not loud not aggressive just a little condescending in this video. Pretty amazing after ignoring 5 black flags. LoL

when you come to mettet you now that its with a db limit. saw in september a 14 year old kid riding 1'08 on a kawa so it can even faster so keep up the practise ;) ;)

Most places use the honor system for sound. I think he said he was tested earlier in the season and they dont retest unless they have cause. Not like he couldnt cheat it anyways.

Habe von dem gleichen Typen im August auch die schwarze Flagge bekommen mit meiner R6 zu mir meinte der ich soll einfach eher schalten weil die so hoch dreht und nicht direkt an der Mauer fahren dann passt das und in den Letzten 3 turns hat keiner mehr gemessen.

Fahre auch immer ganz links, aber selbst da ist die Karre mit DB Killer zu laut. Deswegen vorher in den 6 und Halbgas bei der Messung. Killer ist natürlich drin

Umgedrehte Schaltung. Fahre die Supercorsas in weich/SC1. Hinterreifen an die 2 Trackdays. Vorderreifen ewig, aber wechsel ich dann doch mal nach 5-10 Trackdays

Ja das stimmt, aber das frisst meinst nicht soo viel Zeit. Da bremst man etwas schwächer, bremst gut in die Kurve rein und hat keine Probleme mit dem Ausgang oder der Linie. Aber der Idealfall ist ist natürlich nicht und mit Absicht geschieht das auch nicht :)

Wow chitlins....who let the chitlins into the track....i know on practice days...its not as many security...an a lot looser less people working so u have to be a little self governing...ive seen yellow flags go up an the guys behind me shifts a gear an goes flying past me like hes git alshiemers...i raced supersport 750...an when a flagger is on the track iin any section...especially our track indy turn is flat out john is on the outside the turn trying to help somebody an looking over his shoulder at the time same time u cant do both...marshal are like trailer park management half of them dont understand power or control without going over board....karting RR bike supercross dont matter

Zolder is even worse, max of 95dB on normal days. You have to pay a LOT more and come during weekdays for open exhaust days. ridiculous... my advice: stick to france, holland and germany also, you comment about the sun is a very true. these people they don't even think about their organisation, and only complain. there are a lot better places to be, i cant even see him with the black flag, and ive looked through the entire video

Les décibels c'est une echelle logarithmique, en gros tous les 3dB tu double "la puissance" du son... donc 2dB en plus c'est quand meme BEAUCOUP lol
