The music is deliberately strange and kind of weird because it was made by the goddess Kate Bush to look like the ghost of Cathy calling for her lover Heathcliff to join her in death in the novel Wuthering Heights

Eu nunca tinha ouvido falar dele! Muito boa a sua voz e a interpretação também! Que pena que só o conheci agora! E não sabia que essa música era de O morro dos ventos uivantes, que li na juventude (tenho 81 anos) e vi os filmes e adorei a história.

Holy Land is one of my favorite Angra albums, counting _any_ formation. The way it mixes heavy metal with Brazilian folk is amazing, actually as someone who grew up not liking Brazilian music and only listening to metal from outside (+ Angra and Sepultura of course) Holy Land was what made me realize I was being childish and start going after Brazilian music, cause we _do_ have some amazing sounds in our stuff

This music is based on the novel Wuthering Hights,Morro dos Ventos Uivantes,in Portuguese. This song is basicly the Spirit of Catherine looking for her beloved,Heathclif,in afterlife! This music already was middle weird in Kate Bush voice,but André Matos turned It in pure Metal and matched perfectly.

I love this Angra version, made me read the book “Wuthering Heights” pretty cool by the way

When I listen to this song I immediately think of Juliete Binoche. "Wuthering Heights" was filmed, refilmed and filmed again, but she will always be the true Cathy. If she had said "let me grab your soul away", I would say "this is not neccessary, here it is".

Concordo com você. Pessoalmente acho que existiam outras recomendações muito mais interessantes da banda Angra para reações. A pessoa que pediu esta reação o fez porque é fã da voz do André e queria que o Frank comentasse sobre o potencial vocal e a interpretação deste artista (como o Frank faz com Dimash, Angelina Jordan e muitos outros artistas que aparecem no canal com covers e são bastante elogiados, ainda que cantem músicas pop-românticas consagradas por outras vozes). Por mais que eu não goste desta canção, é inegável que o André é um grande cantor e, para mim, fez uma homenagem muito justa à Kate Bush.

Sendo assim, fica estranho. Não ser o estilo de música, de voz, de interpretação do gosto e preferência dele, até entendo. Agora, se ele reage bem a outros cantores e bandas que fazem covers pop, até medianas e o impressiona, aí eu começo a repensar o meu jeito de olhar...

I don't agree with your interpretation You took an isolated phrase of a video with about 10 minutes and make it look as it was the entire message of the video It's obvious that Frank enjoyed the execution I think that what he meant was: "I don't understand why people asked to react to this song, everybody knows that this music is good, everybody knows that Angra is good there is nothing new here Maybe it would be better react to an Angra's original song" Not closing his mind and being open to discover NEW songs, as he always does

O Dimash fez inúmeros covers de artistas de várias nacionalidades e estilos, como Queen, Michael Jacson, etc. A Angelina é uma artista bem jovem (hoje ela tem 14 anos) e fez interpretações de artistas como Nina Simone e Elton John. No canal tem muitos outros covers como o da banda Home Free, que fez um cover do Bob Dylan. Enfim, o que eu quis dizer é que eu não entendo o questionamento final do Frank no vídeo,, pois, pelo histórico do canal, ele gosta de ver covers e analisar vozes e interpretações, independentemente do estilo musical.

Make Believe - Angra

Many, many years ago, I used to belong to a singing discussion group on Yahoo Groups. There were some Opera singers nd even directors A lot of them with a very academic approach to singing. One of them was very much into tenorino voices. I showed him this recording and he had it analyzed in a software program he had. He said it was amazing because André Mattos didn't use falsetto at any moment in the song, only his head voice. I don't like it much either. I think you'll like Fairy Tale, when he was on Shaman, but the studio version, not the live one. I believe Fairy Tale is his masterpiece.

Ele já fez o react de Fairy Tale. Segundo o próprio Andre Matos disse em um workshop, nessa mesma música (FT), ele apenas usa o falseto na parte "Oh, life is good"...

Muita gente confunde voz de cabeça com falsete, e ele faz isso no workshop.Ele explica completamente errado. Ele sabia fazer, mas não sabia direito o que estava fazendo.
