Angra is a precious gem for Brazilian Metal, as well as Sepultura

Angra is awesome. From Andre Matos's era you should check Time, Make Believe, Nothing to Say, Evil Warning, Deep Blue and Wuttering Heights

If you listen the base line of Carolina IV (angra) you gonna go crazy. Its unbelieveble good

This song was not recorded by Felipe. It was recorded by Luis Mariutti, the first Angra bass player

As Sergio Vitaliano said above, this was recorded by Luis Mariutti. Later, Luis, Andre Matos (vocals) and Ricardo Confessori (drums, he didn't record this song though) left Angra around the year 2000 and formed Shaman, along with Luis' brother Igor. I recommend Shaman live playing Carry On, from the DVD RituAlive in 2003. I believe you can find it on KZread.

Herman Li from Dragonforce said in a interview that he took inspiration from Angels Cry, Holy Land and Fireworks, Angra's albums from Andre Matos(leadsinger who left the band in 2000 and sadly passed away in 2019) era

.this band and others like Helloween, Stratovarius or Sonata Arctica in the in the mid 90's gave birth to a new type of metal: Power Metal. Until then they were considered heavy metal but they differ enough to classify them in another genre. Strongly recomend the temple of shadow album full, master piece

Lione? Temple of shadows was recorded with the legendary Edu Falaschi and Aquiles Priester. the band's golden age. I love André's phase, but that's a general consensus among Angra fans and my opinion too. listen and come back here with your opinion. This 2004 album is legendary and is at the top of the most acclaimed power metal albums.

Why dont you do more angra bro? Lot of amazing songs, to me specially in the 2° band formation. I would sugest rection for 2 songs of different albums: Milleniun Sun and The Shadow Hunter But there is many other great ones like Running alone Heroes of sand Rebirth Unholy wars Spread your fire Temple of hate No pain for the dead Morning star Sprouts of time Cant go wrong with any of these
