I have cut some deep grooves into pitman with grinder, tried many things, spent about 2 hours on it so far, will try again tomorrow , how this thing is still on is beyond belief

Looks to me like you had it in a bind. Penetrating oil is your friend. I think i would have disconnected a tie rod on one side to allow some more movement of your relay rod.

I know this is a year and something after the fact but, I'm at the "broke one cheap pitman arm puller" stage of the game on my 94 pickup, maybe I should skip ahead to the grinder part :/

I know this is three years late but what did you end up doing?

All you need is a bfh and wrench that can take a beating. You'll know its free when the part or tool hits your head and bounces 6 feet in the opposite direction Oxyacetylene works wonders too.

I think is call a tie rod removal tool. O'Reilly rents out.

penetrating oil for a day or few hours would help break down that rust in the splines too.

The issue was that the previous pullers were bending out til they snapped, so I could blow through pullers all day without getting this thing unstuck
