There is a point when poetry transcends everything around you. There is something beautiful on the edge of melancholy. There is a feeling of content when you feel a sound so pure. Angie has given us that gift.

It took me until I was 75 years old to discover Angie McMahon and Leif Vollebokk... very worth the wait. Absolutely beautiful.

Well I added to my Playlist and I'm transported here at random. ..though probably not often enough.

Every time I listen to this song, I think of it as a love letter to myself. As someone who has struggled constantly with mental illness such as depression, it is a beautiful reminder that you needn't change for anyone to love you, including yourself. It's okay to need help. And its okay to let people leave that you wish were meant to stay. The person who deserves for you to never give up on them is you. "If you call, I'll turn on the light for you"

She is famous what are you talking about.. Now let me tell you, she's an indie artist and sometimes they decide no to sign with big labels.. So the moment she decides to do so she'll be known worldwide.

This is a beautiful song. I don't know what Angie 's end game is here, but I do know what I personally gather from this song. To me it is basically about two things. First, being in a relationship that doesn't work that one will never do again because of the consequences, the other the hope that the feelings the relationship evoked will indeed happen again, regardless of the consequences; because the loving that we've earned is going to keep us breathing no matter how it happened. That's why, to me, "If you call" is a beautiful song.

This might sound wierd.... but i love her imperfections more than others perfections.....
