That was a terrible call on Rendon.A blind man could see he didn't touch 1st base.Absolutely horrible and it cost him an injury to boot.

That's why the first baseman should always step on the bag. It would have been reviewable if he had. But since time was called due to the injury, you can't change it by replay.

This is the second time this week the netting and the camera well has gotten way too much attention. Also, it's Thompson in center.

May I say just say, that first batter did not touch first base? That's an out.

Reds started 5 players last night who had batting averages under .200. As a group they had 2 hits in 20 at bats. They can't count on receivong 8 walks every night. They need to use better hitters and to supplement their offense. A good starting point would be to recall Mike Ford from Louisville.

I don't get the explanation of the netting play. If the netting is in play and the ball stays alive, then Steer is tagged out at second. What am I missing?

The MLB rules acts as if the net is not there. So since it went into the net it is a dead ball and out of play. This rewards the runner 2nd base in most cases

So tired of Sandoval. Another mental collapse. Worse are the fans who explained that we were good to go with Sandoval, Canning and Silseth. They needed to add three starters and did nothing.

Well…. It was good while it lasted. Rendon is living up to his normal self. I was actually starting to like him. I’m glad I didn’t get to vested into him. Angels should get a refund.

Bell did not challenge which could have caused problems.

India looks like he has no idea what's going on at the plate. He keeps it up, a demotion to Louisville should be on the table. Rendon should have been called out for not touching first, and that was a clear E8 on the center fielder. Still, a W is a W.

India has the highest 3 ball count percent in the league. You don't get to 3 balls consistently without knowing what you're doing. He's very clearly taking a different approach at the plate and we are 20 games into a 162 game season. How can you be talking about sending people down with our current infield depth?

He is in a bit of a slump as of right now but don’t forget he works the count and draws lots of walks. He currently is top 3 in OBP on the team

Sandoval is toast. Send him down. Or just use him for batting practice. Lifetime, he is 18-40. Say goodbye.
