Honestly yeah it’s pretty shocking. Especially given how terrifying early 2017 was 😅 If her knees and ankles aren’t feeling the shock of those landings, her back most definitely will.

I think that actually was 13.8 or 13.9, but she definelly can do +14.000

@@felityf1even that is generous. I think this is a 13.5-13.6 internationally. Not only for landings and lack of height but her form in air isn’t what it used to be.

Everything I read was an honest assessment. Her passes were low Her landing were scary Her routine wasn’t exciting She was over scored This coming from a Russian gymnast fan Khorkina is one of my all time favs and I love Mustafina.

They are allowed if they don't train at a military club (Melnikova does) or are pro war (Listinova went to a pro war parade)

it is in some of their control.. if they didn't show support for the invasion then they would be allowed to compete as neutral athletes, but some of them are individually blacklisted bc it's their fault

it’s a very competitive routine, and the choreography is good, but she was WAY too over scored, and the execution needs a lot of work particularly the landings on all the tumbling passes

I don't think it's boring at all lol...in fact I'm annoyed we don't get to see this routine at the Olympics. I think if she used less turns it would be better since she has to pause a lot to prepare for her turns.

Gosto muito da Angelina, mas de fato foi um overscored. Em comparação a Rebeca Andrade fez sua melhor atuação na história no solo por equipe, e teve uma nota de execução parecida. Como a Angelina pode ter 8,500 de execução em acobracias com claras falhas de execução nas quedas?! Nao tenho dúvidas que ela é uma das melhores ginastas do mundo e é uma pena não poder estar nas olimpiadas, mas isso não justifica essa nota de execução.

This would never receive that E score internationally. But I imagine they need a boost of confidence. I'm not so sure Gelya can compete as an individual athlete in Paris due to the photos of her holding the Russian War "Z" sign on more than one occasion. The FIG and OIC made it clear that any athlete who supports or has supported the genocide of Ukrainians will not be eligible. I believe when this attack started, the Russian male gymnast who took silver to a Ukrainians gold stuck that Z on him just before he got on the podium and THAT is why the ruling was made. I PRAY FOR PEACE ON EARTH 🙏 I pray for ALL the innocents on all sides and wish all the wars would just stop! Russia/Ukraine; Israel/Palestinians; and the many I'm not even aware of. I fear nuclear war and pray this never happens, but unfortunately, all the nations at war have weapons of mass destruction. Even those in Gaza via Iran by proxy. Again, I PRAY FOR PEACE ON EARTH 🌎 🙏 ❤
