Cherish the 1st time you hear Angelina sing a song, because it can only happen once & it's magical. I think her later versions of this are even better, especially her 17 yo version last Dec in Oslo at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert. Wonderful reaction Stew. Angelina has sung this song many times in her young life, most recently at the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony honoring Narges Mohammadi in Oslo Norway. This one here at 11 years old is simply beautiful, her beautiful voice, sweet smiles all make this stunning. Cheers, stay well. Angelina has sung Unchained Melody many times through her young career. While this version is very, very good, her more recent performances should be considered classics. Her performance at The Music Hall in Portsmouth, New Hampshire was the standout song from that concert. Her version at the Nobel Peace Prize concert in December 2023 is unique, given the background. Narges Mohammadi was this years' recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. Narges was, at the time of this tribute, on a hunger strike while imprisoned in Iran, for being an activist for women's rights. Her two children spoke on her behalf at this event. Most of the performers were Iranian. We know Angelina's grandmother, Mery Zamani, grew up in Iran and was a prodigy for painting and poetry. We can imagine the conversations Mery had with Angelina about Narges. This performance had to be extremely meaningful to Angelina and her family. I hope all the angels will spread the story of Narges and her mission, with the hope for change.

Angelina performed this ai her Portsmouth concert and many thought it was the best of her career. You can see this on BigAngieFan channel. Then she performed this at the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony and raised the bar even higher. ❤

Just wait til you get to her recent performance of this for her 2nd invitation to sing at the Noble Peace Prize ceremony. It's extra special also with a tie to mother day, AJ chooses this song to tribute to an Itanian women imprisoned for standing for women rights. That night, her children there to receive her award were in front of Angelina to her her sing. AJ was 17 and it was a live orchestrated rendition

@@poolhallshark I fully agree and I did get to see Bobby Hatfield do this song live from about 15 feet from the stage and he did not bring the emotion out that AJ did nor the ornamentrations she did to achieve that emotion

No-one can deny Bobby and the Righteous Brothers is i really good listen, but our AJ Just puts her touch to this Renaissance of this one.
