One of Angelina’s lesser known videos has her and her little sister sitting on a couch while Angelina is singing. Her little sister keeps hugging and kissing her the whole time. She even pulls her over at one point. It is so heartwarming to see them together and how Angelina just keeps on singing. Wish I could remember which song it was. If I run across it again, I’ll let you know.

Hi, I have just come across Angelina singing "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" and I have to say being a strong cynical 52 year old English man I cried my eyes out. what a wonderful world as she is in it.

Sandy I just love your reaction on this Angie song, (as usual) The guitarist was Ivan Mendez & Dylan Meek on the Piano. Angie wrote this when she was 11 & 12 here when singing it. The words are very profound for an 11-12 yr old. (Some adults don't even have that kind of insight)

I love the lyrics of the song. You know she's a good lyricist. She expresses her feelings better thru her songs and compositions. Who would have thought she will tackle the question... what is life? ...at her young age. Angelina is a deep well.

I was so excited when I first heard Angelina sing because I'm old enough to remember the rock and roll seventies and yet, even in college, I sought out recordings of the great jazz divas from the thirties though the early sixties. The sound quality (especially of the earliest) wasn't great but you could feel the blues deep down right into your soul and that's what Angelina does to every song. It seemed that the younger artists performing today all went to Pop songs and while were very good ---- Angelina topped them all with her unique voice and continues to do so and she's only thirteen! By the time she's fifteen she could rule the world. *laughing but not really laughing*

The guitarist is Ivan (can’t remember his last name). I love to watch his facial expressions while she’s singing when it’s just the two of them. I read yesterday that she wrote this when she was 11. I thought she was younger, maybe because the lyrics sound younger, all but the word “stealth.” Where did that word come from? I’m glad her singing blesses you as it does me. I’ve decide her voice is addicting!

I have been following her since the first time she appeared on Norway GOT talent at the age of 7 and all through her Six wonderful years with that voice and music and I have lots of personal favorites but love everything she does. I don’t like jazz and blues music much but love Angelina Jordan with all my heart. In the song she sang about paintings that her Grandma does that brings me to the book she has wrote about why she always performed barefoot . Her grand ma did all the paintings in the book. The book is called from heart to heart in english and ITS a childbook don’t know if you can Get that book in another lanuage then Norwegian but if you want to read the book you can search online and see if you find IT and it’s a real story . I love the book and ofcourse i bought IT for myself. Can’t wait for the Angelina Jordan marathon you promise next month and hope the ones i wanted you to react too is coming. Well Sandi another winner! I will say that I am surprised that you still register shock when you hear her, I am no longer surprised at anything she does! Mesmerized is what comes to mind! Listening to her is like one of those old relaxation exercises where they tell you to lie still and imagine that you are full of sand and the sand is slowly leaking out of a small hole somewhere! I agree with Rusty Shackleford about Every Time We Say Goodbye, it was recorded within months of I Put A Spell On You and when you listen to them one after the other it really is the yin and yang of Angelina at the time!

This version of the song brings me to a smoke filled bar late at night, just before closing. People at the wardrobe waiting for coats and you can hear the rattle of glasses as the busboys cleaning tables while the pianist is jamming some chords in the background when someone picks up the microphone and start to sing ..... everything stops ..... people at the wardrobe turns around and become frozen as they just stand there and listen ... busboys put down their piles of glasses and turn their heads towards the stage .. myself, I'm still sitting in a corner with the last sip of my whiskey .... music ends and everything continues as if nothing has happened ... except everyone leaves the bar with a smile on there lips and a warm feeling in their hearts

When everybody are trying to highlight their vocal prowess nowadays... Here's Angelina giving souls to each and every songs she choose to sing. She's making the songs like a breathing entity. She's taking you into a another dimension where the song lives and where you will be at one with it. What an amazing gift Angelina possesses.

Agree with your commentary, Rusty. First I had a top 10 Angelina Jordan songs, then a top 20, then a top 30 … now a top 40 of her songs I can't live without! Her "Every Time We Say Goodbye" is stunning and absolutely angelic. She has bested Adele every time. "A Million Years Ago," "When We Were Young," and "Make You Feel My Love" (which I believe was written by Bob Dylan) --- and she has the best version of two different songs called "All of Me," one by Billie Holiday and one by John Legend.

@@TwitchingLima I don't know if I could even narrow it down to 40. I have just recently finished compiling a playlist of every song she has sung, and the count is at 103. 103 different songs! It's just hard to imagine... at 13 years old! So to get to a top 40 I would have to cut more than half of her work. I could maybe do a top 80 ;) But I think "Every time we say goodbye" will always land in the top 10 of that list for me. It's just so perfect.

The pausing thing is getting a bit crazy. My understanding is that Angelina is not restrictive on copyright (not yet anyway). If you look back at what has been blocked, it's probably broadcast talent shows. Even with those, a pause every 30 seconds should avoid problems.

Since KZread is the one blocking videos it depends on the country the reactor is in and where the artist is from. Every country has different laws and regulations and YT is censoring content based on that.

I don't believe that this video can be blocked by copyright violation because it's an original song by the artist who owns it. You shouldn't need to pause the video. Angelina is giving permission by uploading it.
