Hi beautiful red hair, did you know when Angelina was 6 years old she met a girl who live all the time in the street without any shoes and she give to the stranger girl her shoe and promise her to avoid wearing shoes, singing on the stage until all the children on the word who are living on the street and get all the food they need as they wish and have shoes.

After Angelina won Norway's Got Talent at the ripe "old" age of EIGHT, she became Norway's national treasure. But very quickly, she also became a worldwide treasure -- and the personal treasure in the hearts of millions of fans, including mine. The youngest winner of any Got Talent show on the planet. She had to wait two years because you had to be 7 yrs old to enter. Absolutely phenomenal performance and original, not Angelina’s first original but Angelina’s first original when she signed with Republic Records at 14 years old, Angelina’s wrote Million Miles as a tribute to her Grandfather who passed away and to anyone who has lost a loved one, there are 4 versions, A studio version, a music video version where Angelina’s Grandmother shot the video and featured Angelina’s Uncle and sister Juliette, a artistic version which Angelina’s Grandmother painted the artwork she is a talented Iranian artist and poet, and a live performance in the summer of 2022 in Angelina’s home Norway 🇳🇴 a live concert which I was fortunate enough to attend, great reaction thanks 🙏

Your grandfather passed away in 2018 she couldn’t do it when it happened. She couldn’t keep from crying and ball but now she’s older she’s master rack this song by republic records and a publisher for her and it’s over at UMC the division of NLE Choppa and I always pay her.

AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of 21 had some of the most important musicians of our time: Frank Sinatra's drummer for 6 years, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field has won 9 Grammys, and the bass player, Chuck Berghofer who also played for Sinatra for 6 years, and toured with Barbara Streisand, accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. The main pianist, a five-time nominated for Grammys, Shelly Berg, stated in all his years working with the greatest vocalist, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Did I forget to mention Jimmy Z, the famous Sax Player who worked with Rod Steward, Etta James, the Eurythmics, and Doctor Dre, was part of the band for the show? Jimmy stated that AJ was the best he has ever played for. Norwegian born Angelina Jordan began singing at the age of one and a half, and by age three was listening to jazz and classics legends on repeat. There is 3 official versions this studio version a lyrics version where he grandma's painting go animated and a home movie version at one of the houses. You WILL want to for sure see all 3 AGT2020 performances and all 4 NGT2014 performances. And the most jaw dropping on all is her own version of a 1956 Screaming Jay Hawkins original called "I PIT A SPELL ON YOU" she rewrote arranged and hand wrote her wishes for the band to follow as in the studio session,, oh yes She was 9 years old when she did that one.

Angelina and her music has improved the quality of my life more than I can express. Born Angelina Jordan Astar on January 10, 2006 in Oslo, Norway to her Norwegian mother, Sara Astar and her Swedish father, Gerry Christian Slattman. Angelina started singing around 18 months of age, after listening to Whitney Houston on KZread. She quickly became obsessed with listening to music videos and her maternal grandmother, Mery Zamani got Angelina interested in classic jazz. Mery Zamani is Iranian and was a prodigy as an artist and poet while growing up in Iran. Angelina attended the Oslo Waldorf School and participated in the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts after-school program, where starting around age 4, she had training in music but no vocal training. Her teachers were smart enough to not attempt to change what she was doing vocally. More recently she along with her grandmother have designed and made the clothing she wears on stage. *Why Angelina always performs barefoot* At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. PLEASE PURCHASE Angelina’s book from her merchandise store on her official website, angelinajordanofficial Angelina, at age 6 and 7, did record a few songs in a recording studio at her school, most notably “I Who Have Nothing”, a truly remarkable performance for a 7 year old. At age 7, Angelina’s audition on Norway’s Got Talent, was a cover of Billie Holiday’s “Gloomy Sunday”, a song which was banned by a number of European countries during World War II because authorities worried the song would increase the suicide rate. Truly bizarre that this is the song to launch the career of a child musical prodigy. One of the judges on NGT cried. Musicians working with Angelina would call her the boss since she knew exactly how she wanted to sing the song and would confidently instruct the musicians. While one could say Angelina was mimicking other artists, there is no doubt she had her own style and created her own arrangements, even at this early age. Angelina had turned 8 years old for her next performance on NGT, covering Billie Holiday’s “I’m a Fool to Want You” singing acapella which was required by NGT unless the singer also played an instrument while singing. This was the Judge’s cut round of the competition to trim the number of vocalists who passed their audition, and was not performed in front of an audience. In the Semi Final round of NGT, Angelina sang “Bang Bang” which was written by Sonny Bono and was first performed by his wife Cher but is best known sung by Nancy Sinatra. The improvement in each performance is incredible even though there were only a couple months between them. In the Finals, Angelina did a cover of George Gershwin’s, “Summertime” and won the contest, capturing 46% of the votes from the ten finalists. When asked what she would like to do with the prize money she won (500,000 kroner or about $80,000), Angelina replied, “I want to give it to the poor children”. The vast majority of the prize money was donated to charity benefitting poor children. Record company executives flew their private jets to Norway to attempt to sign 8 year old Angelina but all were thankfully rebuked. Disney also made an offer but not accepted. In December 2014, Angelina realized a life-long desire to sing at the Save the Children's Peace Prize Celebration which is part of the Noble Peace Prize celebration. Angelina’s family took her to United States, Brazil, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Russia, South Korea, Singapore and Mexico among other corners of Earth, to perform for heads of state and to help raise money for charity. On June 27, 2018, at age 12, Jordan performed “Fly Me to the Moon” for Quincy Jones in The O2 Arena in London. She has said that was the high point of her young career which was already in it’s 6th year. During 2018, Angelina lost her paternal grandfather, her friend Avicii and one of her idols, Aretha Franklin. She did a moving tribute for each. In 2019, Angelina accepted an invitation to compete in the 2nd season of America’s Got Talent (AGT), The Champions. She had, since age 3, wanted to perform for Simon Cowell and she earned his praise with her genius arrangement of “Bohemian Rhapsody”. The surviving members of Queen loved it so much they put a link to it on their Twitter and allowed Angelina to copyright her version. Angelina’s family refused to sign any agreement with AGT which would give Simon any control over her career. Angelina, before age 14, had covered more than 130 songs from 80 different artists, spanning at least 8 genres, all of which are available on KZread. Angelina has always made changes to each song she covers and often her version is preferred over the original. On KZread, search on The Complete Works of Angelina Jordan as Rusty Shackleford has put all songs in one file and has a complete playlist in the description of that video. The pandemic hit shortly after her performances on AGT and likely caused a change of plans by her family, most notably her Uncle Michael who is her manager. Her family agreed to a contract with Republic Records in August 2020. Republic Records declared Angelina Jordan their highest priority new artist. Reportedly her family requested Republic to allow her as normal a childhood as possible and therefore have yet to fully promote her. During the pandemic, Angelina was often seen buying meals for the homeless on the streets of Los Angeles. In November 2020, Angelina released “Million Miles” which she wrote after the passing of her beloved maternal grandfather. She dedicated the song to anyone who has ever lost a loved one. Angelina had previously released, 3 other original songs: “What is Life”, “Oslo” and “Shield” In April 2021, her original “7th Heaven” was released. A jazzy, danceable, inspiring song. Angelina had concerts in Norway in July 2022. In December 2022, Angelina performed at the Asian American Awards in Los Angeles. On 2/27/23, Angelina performed at the FIFA Awards ceremony in Paris, France, with a viewing audience in the millions. On May 5th, 2023, Angelina released her original "Love Don't Let Me Go" Personally, Angelina as a great human being and her music came into my life when I needed it most. Her music has improved the quality of my life more than I can express. I now introduce her to as many people as I can, with the hope her music will do the same for others. We know once her family believes the time is right and allows Republic Records to fully promote her, she will become the superstar she has always dreamt and believed she would be. I encourage others to use this biography to help educate others about the love, empathy, magic and beauty that is Angelina Jordan Astar and her unique music.

She won Norway's Got Talent at 7/8 with songs by Billie Holiday, Nancy Sinatra, and the song Summertime from the movie Porky and Bess You're at the beginning and I hope you continue on your journey because it there is a lot to discover, she is the best singer in the world is my opinion) but you will find out for yourself and believe me you will become as addicted as all the other fans (angels) to her voice, she will also be the barefoot angel with called the 1000 voices, why she always performs barefoot is another story, she can adapt and improve her voice to any song and also transport many emotions and she has not only written about 180 covers but also 6 originals by her and 2 written for her who are all amazing and legendary even now and lots to talk about, i look forward to more reactions and have subscribed to you now, greetings from germany, by the way she is 17 years old now.

Red, that was an original and it was about her grandpa who had recently passed away. Good luck with your channel and keep Angelina around. She's 17 now and you probably missed quit a few of her songs. If you choose to it's okay to go to the present time and see what she's up to. But, just saying, a lot of those songs she sang when she was younger are not just nice. They are classics and in many cases her rendition of her covers are more appealing than the originals.

Angelina wrote this song soon after her paternal grandfather passed. It is a tribute to him and to everyone that suffers from losing their loved ones. Angelina was fourteen years old when she first performed it. This video was produced soon after she signed with Republic Records in August of 2020. This is her debut song with Republic records. It was officially released in November of 2020.

I'm still holding out for you. she was10,this was a demo for another artist "baby fuzz" Brandon Larry also from norway, somehow it got leaked to u tube, but I think everyone that hears it is glad it was. There is over 180 songs that she has done over the years ( some originals, mostly covers) but you'll find that all her covers are a little different here and there, but still amazing. Its a journey to run through them so pick and choose for yourself, it's well worth the time!

I've been listening to Angelina for about 3 years now, and I've heard everything she's done, and most multiple times. For me, any performance by her that you react to is going to be very good, excellent, outstanding, or WTF Great!! Some of Angelina's fans say that she's the Best singer in the world, but I don't think that's a classification that can legitimately be made---too subjective.
