How many people, regardless of age, ever think about the concept of love, separate from a specific personal relationship. So a high school senior writes poeticly about a part of being human and sings it beautifully. When we listen to Angelina we are listening to much more than a singer.

Angelina's talent was recognized so early that I think no one has dared/wanted to speak out or "teach her" what she is doing "wrong". Or if someone has tried, she's just dismissed it. She is not limited by music genres. She loves music, and doesn't care if it's Pop, Rock, Country, Hip Hop or Jazz. She does what she wants, and her uncle and manager managed, and thank you very much to him, to get her a contract where she ACTUALLY has the LAST WORD in the production😀!

I think that her mother Sara said that they didn’t want her to have a vocal coach or teacher being afraid that they would try to change her voice. I’ve read that she only had some training on how to protect her voice

She's 17, her mom is 39, this is her grandmother Mery. She saw angelinas talent and exposed her to Billie and the greats at the same time she was learning language so mimicry and imprinting added to her style as she didn't unlearn habits but started with a strong foundation of classic jazz singing. What a genius way to learn.

The woman in car is Iranian poet/painter, Mery Zamini, Angelina's maternal grandma. Her Japanese husband, who passed a few years ago, is the person Angelina wrote Million Miles for. As you say, she is singing to the concept of love itself.

The best way I can describe Angelina is that she is a musical prodigy. She started singing at the age of one per her mother. She loves blues. She loves jazz. She loves many genres of music and the one thing no one has managed to do is to put her into one specific genre. I love her ability to make a song, her own her tones, the richness in her voice. I’m 57 years old I have yet to see that type of natural born talent. No one can replicate her or duplicate her. So again I describe her, and I see her as a young musical prodigy, because there are so many different aspects of her vocal range and these things developed as early as one year old I just can’t wait to see what is yet to come and these things developed as early as one years old I just can’t wait to see what yet to come

As far as I'm concerned, she's a daughter you've never had, she's such an "ideal" daughter, talented, beautiful, intelligent. Sweet reaction..thanks. After listening to the EP "Old Enough", I've realized that this song is unique among the 6. IMHO the video is the key to explaining why Angelina released this song first. Republic Records' contract with Angelina stipulated that she graduate from HS before they pushed her career, so she is finally "Old Enough" to explore her music career. The older woman that Angelina is "taking on a journey" is Mery, her maternal grandmother, mentor and closest friend. Mery surrounded Angelina with jazz from the Divas (Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Dinah Washington, et al) since infancy. Mery was an acknowledged child prodigy of painting and poetry in her native Iran. Many of Angelina's videos from 2018, with Ivan Mendez, show Mery's paintings on the walls of their house, and Angelina's 2020 AGT "Bohemian Rhapsody" pants suit used Mery's art work and Angelina's design. Mery's husband was Angelina's inspiration for "Million Miles", and I feel that Angelina beginning her career with Mery at her side was very important to her. To me "Fire and Rain" is "Million Miles 2.0" showing that Angelina and Mery still carry grandpa with them everywhere that they go.

We can see the ability to sing low developed early in Angelina! You should react to that development in the age 12 Angelina, her Born To Die cover is one of her best covers and displays her powerful low register and how everything she does depends on that strong base! Also her singing How Great Thou Art in Elvis's original key shows her early formation of this strong low register! I really enjoy your analysis!

We Angelina angels cringe a bit each time someone mentions Amy Winehouse but the reality is, anyone who knows Amy Winehouse's music would see and hear similarities. It is a compliment to be compared to a legendary artist. We only hope EVERYONE will check out Angelina's 200+ song playlist and learn she can also remind you of Elvis, Adele, Lana Del Rey, Rhianna, Andy Williams, Billie Holiday, John Legend, Louis Armstrong, Leslie Gore among many others. Once anyone listens to dozens of Angelina's versions of classic songs, along with her 11 originals, there is no doubt in my mind, most will change their tune and say Angelina sounds like Angelina Jordan and is among the best vocalists they have had the pleasure to listen to.

I think I mentioned somewhere else that Amy Winehouse was regularly compared to Dinah Washington, Ella Fitzgerald etc when she started. The novelty eventually wore off. The same will presumably happen with Angelina. Fingers crossed.

That’s her grandmother, who is a famous artist, poet and psychologist from Mary Zamani very famous around the world family they all have fantastic jobs they make a lot of money but they’re very common people they’re not big shot. They just everybody people and Jordan since she was one and a half, she would dollars but she gave it away to children’s cherry and then she has given million dollars away for children’s charity and environmental causes. Her family allows her to help people record the great humanitarian girl voice care.

"And all the songs that I've written for my EP is all from my journal. So, yes, I've been so lucky to be able to put that into music and share the love with you guys and basically storytell the whole journey to you, all my beautiful Angels, my fans.
