I do have to make one correction however: I work with the Farsi language, and although it is written in Arabic script (the Arabs invaded Iran and forced it upon the Persians), Farsi is not a Semitic language (Arabic/Hebrew), and Persians/Iranians are nit related to Arabs at all. Sadly, it is quite an insult to equate the two. Of course, you didn't mean it as such, but I felt a correction was necessary nonetheless. ❤️

Tee, what a wonderful reaction to this classic performance by this amazing young woman. I was fortunate enough to be in the audience when she sang this song in Portsmouth. Her performance at that concert was mesmerizing. The entire audience was on its feet at the end. It was the highlight of the night. This performance is, as you said, different. A different, serious event, in a different venue with a full orchestra on stage with her. I have come to realize that with Angelina there is no way to categorize a performance as the best. Each is, to me, perfection in its own right. Once again this young woman has shown the world that she is in a class of her own.

When Angelina and Kork get together you know you're in for a special treat. 💓💓

All her previous renditions of this song, as superb as they were, have always been 2nd only to the 'Gold Standard' set by Bobby Hadfield, but this one is beyond the heights she has ever reached before, for it brings such a human element of emotion laden penetration to the listener that is something Bobby's version doesn't emote as deeply. It is a perfect tribute for a special woman who truly deserves 'The Nobel Peace Prize' and I'm sure if Bobby were to hear it from the 'far beyond', it would have brought a tear to his eye as it did to me.

Wikipedia: Unchained Melody is a song written by Alex North (music) and Hy Zaret (lyrics), and it was first released in 1955 as the soundtrack and theme song for the film Unchained, hence the name. The film is about an inmate in a prison who is in the dilemma of whether he should escape or serve out his sentence so that he can be reunited with his loved one. And…her grandma is an iranien woman!

Yes I agree Tee, She adjusted this song for the occasian. She shows respect in everything she does. Everytime she performs as an older adult type Angelina, I always think of that 9YO Angelina from I put a spell on you and put it over that older face and they are twins. Wonderful reaction, thank you Tee, her ability to move those who listen to her is absolutely incredible. What a fascinating and intimate interpretation! I was moved to see and hear Angelina singing in such an incredibly mature and charming way, this wonderful version of a fantastic song and so appropriate to the occasion, 8 years after the last time, in the same studios and with some of the musicians who accompanied her as a child, when she took her first steps into her musical future. Here Angelina was simply fantastic and "unchained", a singer who has already sung on 2 different occasions at the Nobel Prizes and at just 17 years old. 💛🧡❤

What is better than Angelina and a band? Give her a full orchestra and things are even better... This is proof of that. What a performance! And this orchestra "KORK" has done very beautiful performances with Angelina in the past (video's are on KZread), so everybody knew it would be "gold".

Wonderfully emotional reaction and comments as always Tee. Angelina demonstrates her true versatility in this performance when you compare and contrast to her Old Enough EP and other songs. I thought she evoked emotion in her previous versions, but this one is exceptional and reflects how much she has grown as an artist. At the end, when they zoomed to a close upper of her face, the emotion was actually visible, and her expressions reminded me a great deal of Adele when she is singing emotional segments of her music. But the voice is different and for me has more character. By the way I was in Portsmouth and I think this version even eclipses the version she sang there!

Angelina inspires me to do what I can to help make the world a better place, so I am asking my fellow angels to spread the story of Narges Mohammadi. The more people who are aware and call for change, the more likely the leaders of Iran will set her free. Acts of kindness, is what Angelina always reminds us to do. We angels, need to honor Angelina by doing what we can to be kind to others. The smallest acts of kindness can make a difference.

Yes...I was pulled to her from her first note, I couldn't take a deep breath but rather shallow but calm breathing, with every fiber of my being I felt her prayer that this song became...the love she sent out... never forgetting those on whom she was so focused so that her love was the gift she sent to these ones. Some comments expected Angelina's Debut album to drop on a Friday, either the 8th, or the 15th. which is today, and it did not happen. The next logical day for the album drop has to be on January 10, her 18th. birthday. If that does not happen, then it is going to be a great disappointment post Christmas

It would have been great if tee had done what every other reactor has done and not cut the beginning but included the introduction from the host , actually she started the performance a little late , it spoilt the build up and excitement of the performance for me . very disappointing especially coming from one of the most supportive angelina reactors . So bloody annoying probably the reason as usual is imo tee does to much talking before the performance .that may explain why she has such a low subscription count .sorry its true .

When she sang I need your love I thought of her and how much she gave up to stand for all women. As a matter of fact, the greatest conflict among Muslims is between Shia and Sunni Muslims which is basically Arab versus Persian (Iranian). And this has been going on for hundreds of years.
