Dont think it could be better said. She is the open ended raw emotion inside us all as we discovered this remarkable performer and the way she has approached the catalog chronologically and avoids even previously heard recordongs, this insulating her from getting used to her voice in any way, is a remarkable stroke of genius. My first song of hers was bohemian rhapspdy, and I bet I listened to it 100 times that week alone. Debbie may be southern like me, but don't let her fool ya (as if she was trying) she os a smart cookie. Idk how she disciplines herself to stay insulated, think of all thats Domingo though. She hasnt heard id rather go blind yet, and that masterpiece sang into the back side of the mic for lack of a secondary microphone pop filter will be studied for generations. Iblnow its blasphemy but I'm sorry miss James, Angie sang it better with a hack on her 12th birthday from the couch in her living room. She hasnt seen bohemian rhapsody yet and that broke the internet and had queens living members tweeting support and giving her rights suspicious minds million miles two renditions of I have nothing 2 years apart and even in those two years her vocal grown is exponential. She is still listening to the little girl yet, except for the warm blamker podcast. I'm 1000 percent in debbies corner, hopefully with some Easter eggs ive learned along the way to make it even cooler.

This is my favorite performance of Angelina Jordan singing this song. Melts my heart and soul.... tears every time i listen to this. That rasp and the vibrato, with those low notes.... Yes, to what your'e saying. It hits the chakras. We who experience the same understand you without words. We get it. Hug to you, Ms. Debbie. Grandma Ellen, heart-filled. Roger and out.

Ive followed Angelina the last couple years and she is amazing. You have every right to your emotions. We, her fans, have felt the same emotions.

She is music. I wonder if you are ready for her when she is 10 years old and up to about 12 now. Because her singing reached new uncharted territory at that time. And she is still to this day on a mission impossible journey with that voice. Get ready for it.

Yes! No matter of age, just stunning, brilliant. For every age.This is a complete and unique performance.

Angelina says LOVE is everything. Angelina's love of music can't be measured, nor can the love she evokes in her singing. She fully embodies each song and provides the love and emotion the song calls for. "Fill my heart with song, and let me sing forever more".

You won't find more sincere people than Angelina's Angels, because we know for a fact that she is the greatest thing to happen to music in our lifetime.

Three years ago I was scrolling through KZread and came across this video. I was in complete shock and was totally blown away! I have listened to her every single day since then. No other singer comes close to the emotions Angelina can convey in a song! She is an Amazing singer and an Amazing Person!

Another great heart felt reaction Debbie , even if she wasn't so skilled as a singer just the sound and tone of her voice alone is the most beautiful voice i have ever heard and it is just full of feeling. Yeah, this 86 year old ex-marine can’t get through this without crying. This sweet little soul, this precious, innocent little girl with the talent of a professional diva gets me every time. You missed something very important. Go back to the very end and watch her reaction when Rosie brings her the armful of toys. Angelina gives Rosie her signature, iconic rubbing-the-back hug, and one of the sweetest smiles I’ve ever seen. It’s too precious to miss. Glad you found your happy tears. She gets them too, when she sees how much her fans adore her in concert. With Angelina’s amazing masterpieces I determined the appropriate ranking system for her songs is the 'tear factor' (instead of stars : she is always 5-stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐). Her voice repeatedly penetrates deep down into my soul. I often shed many tears since first discovering her. So, 1 to 5 tears: 😂😂😂😂😂

This performance on The View was about 5 months prior to the performance in Germany that you reacted to a couple days ago. There are videos of her sitting in the green room practicing with the guitarist. It took them 3 or 4 times before the guitarist finally slowed down to Angelina’s preferred tempo. Then, there are several rehearsals on the stage, with no audience, where they are getting the sound levels and video angles set. All that means that Angelina had a long day of rehearsals to do this performance! That’s a lot for an 8 year old! She’s been a professional singer all her life! And, it’s ironic to hear Rosie saying that her daughter has been listening “to all the greats, Ella, oh everybody”, and trying to make a joke out of it, when that’s EXACTLY what Angelina did!

We really don't mind you're "rambling", since you are actually expressing your inner experience of hearing Angelina singing. Angelina's voice invites us to experience the song with her, and draws us inside it with her. There is a stunning vulnerability to what she does, which moves us very, very deeply. Just be prepared, as you continue with her through the years, you will continue to be shocked and likely overwhelmed by the continuing growth of Angelina as singer and artist. At different times, and with different songs, you can sense Angelina experimenting, and pushing the envelope of her voice, trying various techniques and ranges within what she can do, in order to find the outermost limits of what she is capable of vocally. It never ceases to amaze, and it's clear to me that, even at the age of 65, she is far and away the most versatile singer I've ever heard. Wishing you all the best from Wisconsin!

Great reaction Debbie!! I think one of the things that is so special about Angelina's singing is the innocent, honest, and genuine joy that she sings with. Her performances are not "hey look at me", they are sung with the pure intent of making the listener happy and telling a story. Incredibly rare to find such authenticity in a young singer.

I have seen the raw, uncut, version of her interview with Rosie. Rosie starts out with, “Hello, everybody, I’m standing here with 8 year old Angelina Jordan, and she’s from Norway!” And then she turns to Angelina and asks, “Tell me, how old are you honey?” LOL!!! She had just announced that Angelina was 8! Angelina looks at her as if she had been asked a trick question, before she answers, “Eight”. They edited that out.

I'm guessing that the reason Angelina hesitated when saying "Norway's Got Talent" was because she was trying to remember the English translation. Some comments I've read say that they don't like Rosies interview, but I think this is one of the best interviews available from Angelina's younger years. I also like the humor that Rosie adds.

Watching #AngelinaJordan videos when she was young is the greatest treat. Imagine having a little Angelina follow you around all day singing songs. This appearance on US television demonstrates her natural confidence and skill in sharing her Divine gift with others.

When my kids were young I tried to sing them to sleep but I didn't know any lullabies. So I sang "Fly Me To The Moon".When I first heard AJ sing this I got this instant bond of parental love. Now she owns this song. As she got older each new interpretation changed and got richer. The FMTTM video that her Grandma Mery is almost like a fairytail it is so beautiful. Her performance with Quincy Jones using the original Frank Sinatra arrangement by Quincy was historic and displayed AJ's vocal maturity at age 12. Her samba version at 16 last summer in Norway showed the beautiful mature young lady she is becoming ending with her outstretched arms to her many fans singing "I love you". Her voice doesn't "quiver" anymore, just all us fans. ❤

She will always amaze you no matter what age or song, you just have to accept that. I'm glad you decided to watch this video on the View (her first appearance on US TV) since this one has the little interview first and the quality is better and with the close-ups you can see more clearly how incredibly cute she is. You have other songs to see as you go through your chronological order, but don't skip over her other performances of this song with a music video directed by her grandma at 10 yrs old and a stunning rehearsal of her singing it again for Quincy Jones 85th birthday in London. I know you will keep up the great reactions to Angie, but don't hesitate to do a couple each day since you have a almost 200 to do and we get impatient to see your next reaction.

The version her Grandma directed was uploaded in 2016 but recorded no later than Sept 2015, because Angelina uploaded pictures from the shooting of the video on her Facebook then.

Every time she brings tears in my eyes cause it is so beautiful. Angelina Jordan ASTAR (the name says it all), this young norwegian genius is imo the best singer on the planet! I am 70 y old and have never heard a singer like her in my whole life. Her voice touches my heart and cleanses my soul.

Hey Debbie - this is one of my favorite performances by AJ. It shows both that she's truly just a sweet eight year old girl (who really doesn't speak English all that well yet) and a little timid in her existence with adults, and also that she's one of the best instinctive and emotion producing vocalists that has ever existed. What is truly amazing to me is that while Angelina is a little nervous during the short interview - once she starts singing, she sounds like a seasoned pro. AJ didnt sing Fly me to the moon on NGT. There are several versions. My favorite is when she is 12, at the Quincy Jones birthday rehearsal. Amazing

Yeah, here at 8 she is giving you different subtle nuances in different performances of the same song and each one is uniquely incredible. I've seen this performance at least 50 times. Still brings a tear to my eye. The way she elongates and holds the notes, slides up and down the music scale like shes been doing it for years, simply stunning. Hang in there, the best is yet to come.

Angelina is like an Onion, she will make you Cry time and time again and there are so many layers to her Vocals, its unbelievable

We have all been in the exact same spot you are now as we have journeyed with Angelina. My advice would be tissues at the ready because she will do it to you again and again.

The first part of discovering AJ is unbelievable voice and talent. The second part is discovering that her humanity, caring and empathy from an early age is also unmatched. That’s why I love watching every bit of interaction with others, be it an interview or just waving and smiling to her audience. She’s a gift.

Singing live on national TV at 8 years old!

The first rule of listening to Anglina is that there is no shame in tears. Sooner or later, she reduces all of us to tears.

You've done two versions of this song. When you're ready, I've got seven more ranging in age from eight to 13 with backing from a single guitar to a small jazz combo to a huge orchestra. Performed in a recording session, at a rehearsal, in front of a small audience, as a music video, or at a wedding. No two of them are the same and every one of them is stunning.

Definitely her... she has taught me to appreciate whole genres of music I didn't like before.

Emotional? Of course. Always. But this time you were hit with feeling so PROUD of her and it broke you down. It's the same feeling you would have watching your child perform on stage at school for the first time. Therein lies what is going on inside you. Musically she is phenomenal but you are also being overwhelmed by what a beautiful child she is. She is now 'family' to you. She has been adopted by people all over the world as their daughter, sister, granddaughter, great granddaughter and even great great granddaughter. If you watch her performance on Norway's Got Talent again when she sang her audition ('Gloomy Sunday') there is a moment when they show her mom standing backstage crying while she is singing. Well, 10 years have gone by and their relationship is as solid as ever and the love in her family is at the highest level possible. The future? You/we can not pass the fact Angelina is only 8 in this video, but I think she deserves it that we all have an ear for the wonderful music she is making in the first place. And let's face it: she is at a very adult level in that. I mean: Angelina is making her own musical decisions, arrangements, lyrics and compositions (even a lot of experienced and talented adult singers are NOT doing that). This video, to me, is probably one of the best video on which you can see what is happening with Angelina when she sings: as soon as the gitar player started to play she instantly changes into 'singing mode' and is, as she says herself, in her happy place. She flips out of it as soon as the last note is been played (you can also see that in 'What a difference a day makes'). You must see it to believe it, and even when you see it it is hard to believe. But at the same time it is so beautiful, in a way even funny, to see it happen.

You remind me, of me, when I first discovered Angelina almost 7 years ago. Truth is, she still holds me in a trance 7 years later and have not missed one day since. Angelina is beyond description, but there are quite a few that I have heard.

Emotional reaction is expected so you are right with the program. If you think this is something, wait till you get to age 10. It's only a couple of years more or less, but the acceleration of her skills is immense. Oh are you in for a treat going forward! Just a side note that this appearance was her first in the United States following her win in Norway. Peace and love.

She is the first singer ever who made me "feel" music. I would cry at sad songs but it was the words. This is different, it is her voice. The emotion and tone make you feel it.
