Angelina Jordan Astar is a once in a generation talent that has been blessed by the hand of God and by doing so has blessed all those who hear her voice. Yes she is from Norway. Started singing at 18 months. At 6, speaking several languages including reading and writing in English, Angelina took a trip to the middle east with her mother and grandmother she met a girl who was close to Angelina's age. The girl was weighing people for money. When Angelina stepped on to the scale the girl commented on Angelina's shoes. Angelina noticing that the girl had no shoes Angelina gave her shoes to the girl and to this day performs barefoot to draw attention to the plight of children who can't even have a of shoes. Again at 6 years old, Angelina who not only could play the piano, guitar and violin she also could read music and does all of her arrangements. She enters a studio with her grandmother and at 6 years old does the best version of "I who have nothing". When she hits that first big note you see Angelina explode with joy as any 6 year old but within a messure she is right back into the song and and ending that is so heartfelt and beyond her years by two decades. She enters Norway's Got Talent at age 7 and wins with 46% of the votes (global got talent record to this date) Age 8 she sings "Fly me to the moon" on the View in NYC At age 9, Angelina gives a masterclass on singing as performs the best version of "I Put A Spell On You" that I have ever heard. At age 10 on a major TV show she does without a doubt that best version of "Feeling Good" I have ever heard. At age 12 she sings "A Million Years Ago" that left me emotionally eviscerated and then likecany 12 year old brat, she giggles and says by like it's time for cake and I still can't get off the floor. How this little angel can reach deep into my soul and touch me like no one has. Hey, I am an old man. I have seen the greatest singers and musicians from the 1950's thru today and I have never heard anything or anyone like this little angel. She is a class act and has grown up to be the superstar she was born to be. I pray that she stays true to herself and not get wrecked by the system like so many others. This girl is truly special and I could write volumes about the charity work, the fack that she is Norway's youngest author or that she does everything in just one or two takes. She reads her lyrics as she sings. She is incredible. Most common responses "wait, what", "how" "this is crazy" Favorite Angelina song is which ever song you heard last. In closing I wish I had 20 more years. I would love to she the star she will be in her prime. If the last decade is any indication, she will really be something. When you react to Bohemian Rhapsody take notice during her performance they highlight audience members in the front row. That is Angelina's Family. Short history. First recorded singing at eighteen months of age. At two going on three she is seen scrolling through KZread looking for Jazz artists to listen to. At three tells her Mother she wants to sing on that Simon show. At four she enters school. In after school program she is taking music, piano, violin and flute. At five she is studying music theory. At five she is speaking three languages. At five she is reading English. At five she try’s to audition for Norway’s Got Talent, but is told she is too young and must be seven. At six while living in the the Middle East she meets a homeless girl, which is where the legend begins. Have fun learning about this incredible human being. It is well worth your time, and we will follow you on your journey. Ten years and I have never missed a day listening to her.

She is Angelina Jordan Astar She is the Future of Music, a legend in the making, an Icon, a humanitarian who has raised 10s of millions of Euros for charity, and became Norways youngest author with her book Between Two Hearts at age 9, as you will notice her song writting skills in her original works. Hi James, very impressed with your reaction and comments. I know you are going to get inundated with information from the die hard fans so I won't repeat what you are going to hear. She is a very talented young lady who has been singing since she was a baby. She also has a heart of gold. I had originally seen her AGT video on my facebook page. Like you I don't watch the show. I remember when I first saw it I was so impressed with her. Last October that video was again showing up on my facebook page so out of curiosity I googled her to see where she was now. Oh my God!!!!! I was blown away and I have been obsessed with her since. I think that first night I must have spent 3 hours watching video after video!

Oh boy, you are going to be bombarded by her fans called Angels that will fill you in on this music prodigy with an old soul from Norway. She's basically been a star since she was 7 years old. First and foremost, she is a jazz singer but has the ability to sing any genre. She also does all of her own musical arrangements. Her early influences are Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, and Etta James to name a few. Her love of jazz came from her grandmother playing jazz music around her when she was young. In 2014, she entered at age 7 and won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8. With her new found fame, she used it to appear on many shows from abroad and help raise millions for the less fortunate children around the world. At age 13, she was invited to participate on America's Got Talent: The Champions in 2020. She shocked the audience and the judges with her rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. She received a standing ovation from all and got the Golden Buzzer from judge Heidi Klum to go straight to the Finals. Her performance went viral and even the group Queen responded on Twitter by saying, " Wow, what a rendition!" Not only that, but she received the copyrights for her version of this song from Queen, which makes it hers now. She did not win, but her fan base grew and expanded her popularity. Now 17 years old, living in Los Angeles, and is signed with Republic Records, whose clients include Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, and Drake to name a few. Her family and Republic Records have agreed not to heavily promote her just yet so she can live as normal of a life as possible and finish her schooling. The reason is very special. When she was 6 years old, she was traveling with her family in Iran where she met a poor shoeless girl in the streets that was about her age. She made money by weighing people. After speaking with her for a few minutes, Angelina noticed the scars on the girl's feet and asked the girl what her dream is. The girl said she wanted to be a doctor but she couldn't because she had to make money for her family. Angelina did what came natural to her, she gave the little girl her shoes and told her to not give up on her dreams. The girl then asked Angelina what her dreams were, Angelina answered that she wanted to be a superstar, and the girl said she would pray for her success. Since then, Angelina has performed barefoot in honor of that little girl and to those who are less fortunate around the world. She keeps this promise to this day. One of the reasons why we love her so much!

This was the champions version of AGT where the best performers from previous seasons come together to compete. AJ got the Golden Buzzer from Heidi Klum sending her straight to the finals and bypassing much of the competition. AJ is a child prodigy and you can hear why she was able to win a national competition at age 7 (8 when the competition was ending). AJ is self-taught and does her own song selection and arranging since she was very little. She also writes her own songs and has an original album coming out in a few weeks under the Republic label.

You could have played the comments, everybody else does. You need to check out her rendition of I Put A Spell On You from when she was 9. You will be blown away again. And also her audition on Norways Got Talent of Gloomy Sunday when she was 7. Make sure you find the one with subtitles, because the comments are in Norweigan. Even though Norweigan is her first language, she talks and sings in perfect English. She is 17 now and just released a song that she wrote. She is going to be huge.

I've seen profession vocalists and vocal coaches react to Angelina, and you caught onto Angelina about as much as they did. Just an amazing talent. ... At this point she's a seasoned pro at "mid career." I suggest moving the clock back a few years to when she was 9 years old and reacting to her performance of Screaming Jay Hawkins 1956 hit, I Put A Spell On You. (black & white video, important). Her grandmother was her greatest influence, but Angelina chose her own path. Her first studio performance was at age 7, singing I Who Have Nothing. She won Norway's Got Talent at the age of only 8, singing old time classics from Billie Holliday and George Gershwin, and became the youngest ever vocalist to win an international Got Talent Show! Her performance at 9 years old of Screamin Jay Hawkins, I Put a Spell on You is considered one of the finest recordings ever of a 9-year-old vocalist! Angelina also went viral on America's Got Talent the champions in 2020 with her unique versions of Bohemian Rhapsody and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Wellcome to the world of Angelina Jordan, Here is a short, very short explanation to the live of Angelina Jordan (AJ): Born in Oslo, January 10th 2006, singing since age 18 MONTHS, discovering jazz at age 2, practicing her craft and art since age 3 for 36 hours weekly. Visiting the music academy in Oslo since age 4 and since age 12 she does that in LA California. Participating Norways Got Talent when 7, winning when 8. After this she performed mostly in charity and fundraiser concerts. Then 13 she performed at AGT, you saw it. Not to win, but to push the american audience into recognizing her. She knew she could not win, because she did not sign any contract with the owner of this show. Today at 17, she is almost finishe with Highschool. This June 2023 she will release an EP of original songs as she will release a album in late fall, she will go onto a world tour. @@kevingallagher8973 Sadly some people will exploit her growing popularity. It is pretty easy to spot genuine reactions vs people just trying to build their subs. On the good side the more new people who discover Angelina the better. I only discovered her less than a year ago and I can't describe the joy and meaning her art has brought to my life. As AJ once said,"Spread love and be kind " 🥰

Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California is Angelina's A&R person, and he has been working with AJ since she signed with the largest record company in the world at the age of 14, three years ago. Rob was the MC of AJ Christmas Show that aired Dec 23, of 21. AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of 21 had some of the most important musicians of our time: Frank Sinatra's drummer for 6 years, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field has won 9 Grammys, and the bass player, Chuck Berghofer who also played for Sinatra for 6 years, and toured with Barbara Streisand, accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. The main pianist, a five-time nominated for Grammys, Shelly Berg, stated in all his years working with the greatest vocalist, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Did I forget to mention Jimmy Z, the famous Sax Player who worked with Rod Steward, Etta James, the Eurythmics, and Doctor Dre, was part of the band for the show? Jimmy stated that AJ was the best he has ever played for. In my opinion, she had been the greatest female vocalist to ever live for three years already. There has never been another with the combination of talents as this young lady. Angelina Jordan Astar was born 1/10/2006 in Oslo, Norway Angelina is a music prodigy who started singing at the age of 18 months and won Norways got talent at the age of 8 (started competition at age 7 and won at age 8) Angelina is blessed to have a very special family that has watched over her while allowing her the freedom of being herself. One big thing that Mother, Sara Astair, insisted was that Angelina has as much of a normal life growing up as possible Sara and Angelina's uncle and manager, Michael Astar limited what performances Angelina would do sometimes saying no to over 90% of the requests even so Angelina has performed all over the world from age 8 to now age 17. Angelina plays the piano, guitar, violin, and flute and has sung in 5 languages, and has over 180 covers of all genres all of which will amaze you, Angelina has worked hard for children and humanitarian relief and was the youngest author in Norway with a book (Between two Hearts) a story of why she wears no shoes during a performance.

- The Barefoot Princess - (From her book, television and radio interviews, and podcasts made between 2014-2015. Includes excerpts from her diary made that day in 2012.) Why does Angelina sing barefooted? Angelina Jordan is known as "The Barefoot Princess" or "The Barefoot Princess of Jazz," amongst many other names. She always performs barefooted, whether in front of a live audience or during a studio performance. The story is that while living in the Middle East, at 6 years old, Angelina came across an orphaned girl, of her own age, sitting in the street, weighing people on a bathroom scale to earn money. Angelina said to herself, "I would like to share her life for one second to know what it is like to sit alone, wet, and damp, and barefoot in a corner of the street." Angelina could see the girl's bare feet were scarred and that it was cold outside, so she offered her own shoes to the girl. Little Angelina says that she really loved her shoes, as they were very nice and she knew she would miss them. But she saw the other little girl’s need for them, which outweighed her own desire to keep them. So she insisted the little girl take them. Angelina called her Princess, even though the girl said she didn't live in a castle, but the ruins of a building next to where she sat. After sharing their hopes and dreams, the little girl said of Angelina's wish to sing for the world, "You will become the one you dream of and when your dreams come true, you have to remember the poor children without shoes; and I will pray for you Angelina.” Later that day, 6 y/o Angelina wrote in her diary, "The world is very strange. Right then and there, I felt as if a door in my heart opened up, and it was filled with lots of lights. It was as if there was, from Earth to Heaven, a staircase. I climbed the stairs. To be able to do something for another human - it was such a big thing…hard to describe really.” From that point on, Angelina takes off her shoes, in honor of ‘Princess’ and all the other less fortunate children of the world, who are orphaned, hungry, or in want of even basic clothing. In 2015, at the age of 9, Angelina wrote a book about the encounter, as everyone continued to ask why she sang barefoot. Her grandmother, Mery Zamani, created the artwork for the book. So at 9, Angelina Jordan became the youngest published author in Norway. Angelina has performed alongside many other artists, raising attention and helping to raise over 21 million euros and millions of dollars for children in need.
