Thanks Mace! I often close my eyes when Angelina sings and I'm transported to another world. Exactly what Angelina says she feels when singing. And then, I open my eyes and see this little 10/12 years old girl!!!! Never ceases to amaze me :)

It is the wonderful way, of real good studio musicians, she arranges. You can see on the rehearsals, she is infecting. She herself plays three instruments. That makes her able, to even give advice to the brass-band director, what the detailed riffs and runn need to equate, in stage performances. That gives her a stage performance quality, nobody of her age has. She is respectful with individual guitarist, as well as she commands a 30 piece brass and, without nerviousity. She performs in front of gathers of 32.000 Singapourians, as well as on a birthday party of five, or just singing for Quincy Jones, in a short break.

She'll be cutting albums and touring soon...it's coming and I will definitely be first row at one of her concerts!!!! You have that same appreciation Thanks!

How was that for pure PERFECTION!! And she was 10 years old. She knows exactly how good she is. And yet remains humble, kind, considerate, and unpretentious. That's just very good parenting. She is loved and wishes to love others. Not only is she a phenomenal talent, but the world is truly blessed that Angelina is and will become a role model for many around the world. I think that the reason for us getting goosebumps is that Angelina basically always is in the flow when she sings. She is not thinking about how she looks or what people will think .She forgets time and place and "becomes" the song. And we who listen feel this. One of my favorite songs is actually a sort of pop/country cover of Miley Cyrus "Nothing breaks like a heart". It is supercool, not "big" like "I put a spell on you" or "I who have nothing", which are also amazing of course. I like it because there you can clearly see that it is not the amazing vocals and technique which is her real strenght, it is her feel.

Yes, she always sings with her soul, and this makes it so mesmerizing to listen to her. She never hurries through a song, she literally becomes the song when singing. Freddie Mercury had that quality, too, that’s what made him a legend.

It's not just Angelina's strong and well controlled voice that makes her runs so impressive, it's also the way she picks *_which_* notes to use in them, and the way she *_phrases_* those runs. Even if it's the first time You hear it, her music immediately connects to your soul and gives You those chills.

Snow is THE best thing ever invented, but I'm from Hammerfest in Norway, the northernmost town in the world, so I'm born with polarbearskin boots on :) Now I live in mid Norway, and the snow is melted already in January, oh what a booring winter this is going to be

Yeah haha it's more so on the westcoast of Canada, especially the lower mainland, we are not used to it. A little snow and everything grinds to a halt XD We aren't prepared. hahah

Humm I grew up in Florida USA. I never saw snow until I was almost 40 years old. Then I worked in North Dakota for over 3 years. It was quite a change. ND average winter night temperatures are about minus 30 Celsius. To about 0 c in the days. Colder than most inhabited areas of Alaska.

Mace, i love, love the band! Perfect for Angelina s repertoire. Her voice sends me suddenly to my early years. I m a student and i enjoy myself at night with a jazz band. I dream of a better world. All hopes are possible! We will change the world around us with jazz and blues. On the radio, on TV, in the streets, there is the same, common air of freedom and liberty for all on a constant music that mixes melancholy, love, dreams and peace. That feeling of goodness, Angelina has the God given gift in her voice to recreate it in a way that young and old can receive because it is communicated by a young gifted girl whose voice is ageless.

Unfortunately I have to tell you that you fell in love with Angelina and her voice ... like all of us ;) and there is no going back. You will hear so many songs from her that you just can't breathe and can't believe that what you've just heard comes from this little girl. Try the first song she wrote at 11 called What is Life. It's her life in a jazz song & is my favorite of hers.

She performs barefoot because when she was 6, she met an orphan girl downtown who had no shoes. Angelina gave her shoes to the girl and vowed to always perform barefoot until all children in the world have shoes! Love Angelina for her talent and also her warm heart!

You mentioned that Angelina Jordan performs barefoot. Here is the reason. When Angelina was 6 years old, she met a homeless girl around her own age in Iran. (Her grandmother is Iranian artist, Mery Zamani.) The girl didn´t have any shoes, and Angelina saw that her feet were scarred. Angelina gave the girl her own shoes. Angelina then “vowed never to appear on stage again wearing shoes until all the world’s children had them.” She has kept that promise to this day, as she says that little girl “is always in my heart.” Angelina said she asked the little girl what her dream was, and the girl responded that she wanted to be a doctor. Angelina told her to “never give up.” In return, the girl told Angelina she would pray for her, and asked her to “remember me.” Not only does Angelina honor the young homeless girl she met by performing barefoot, but she also wrote a book about the experience. It’s called Mellom to hjerter (“Between two hearts”), and was published in 2015, when Angelina was only 9 years old. The book was illustrated by her grandmother, The book made Angelina the youngest published author in Norway. The outfit that she wore on AGT is created by the young lady together with her grandmother from art they have painted. She is an incredible young woman and we are so proud of our norwegian treasure.

@@Mr.DamianM She can sing the Norwegian national anthem, and still sure the Americans like it :-) When it comes to 007, all her goals have been achieved. Everyone in the music industry knows who she is, and she recently said no to ten Disney after what I heard. The family tries to make her grow up as normal as possible. That is why she has been under the radar of many people, but now they can't hide the talent any more. In addition, norway is a small populated country, only 5.6 million. Then you should have an opportunity to reach out to mp man via example ADT. Also want to thank you for good reactions.

When she became å little older, she srarted experiancing a little with her voice and with diffrent genre, but allways of course adding that jazzy flavor. Examples are a million years ago, nothing breaks like a heart, wicked game, the show must go on, born to die, I have nothing (whithey Houston) and so on....

Well you can compare to two well known singers performing this song in very distinct styles: Michael Bublé and Adam Lambert. AJ sings in a much more classic way what makes her version much more interesting, at least for me.
