There's a lot more to Angelina Jordan than just a beautiful voice. She is obviously a listener. Her Grandmother sat her down at 1 1/2 years of age and they listened to music together. Her jazz roots came directly from those wonderful times. Listening has been ingrained into her whole being and consequently, Angelina hears, interprets, and naturally adapts her presentation to the mood of the music and the meaning of the lyrical storyline. A beautiful gift from God enhanced by a loving family.

She sings Faded right after Sing Me to Sleep, if you do a search it’s a little over 9 minutes long....maybe you have already seen it, if not it’s Absolutely Amazing. In Faded you can hear her voice over this beautiful Orchestra, just a thought. Thank you for the great review 💫💫

The thing about Angelina is not just her wonderful rich voice. It's the incredible level of empathy she possesses, which allows her to put so much emotion into her performances. As far as AGT Champions is concerned, her appearances there have accomplished exactly what they were supposed to accomplish, greatly increasing her exposure to the American audience. The result of the 'competition' is irrelevant because it's not voted on by the audience. I am 100% invested in Angelina's talent and 0% invested in their manufactured drama. I really enjoy your style of reacting and your membership in the 'Angels'. Keep them coming!

There’s another video where she sings this and Faded as well. I love Alan’s music at this concert. I read he doesn’t usually use a full orchestra but did for this performance. Can you believe Angelina is 10 singing in front of all these people? She does it so often, and it doesn’t faze her in the least. Always calm, cool and collected. I’ve never heard her flub her words, either. Also, I’ve never seen the little intro by Alan at the beginning of this tape. Cool!

Thank you so much for your reactions to Angelina. I love this young human being. I agree with you in that she isn't an old soul trapped in a young body. I believe she has the ability to hear music (any genre) and interpret it in a way that only she can. She's blessed with a gift, and I feel blessed to have come across this beautiful soul several years ago. She's made smile and has brought tears to my eyes. (I know you can relate). I appreciate your honesty, and sincerity. As well, II hope that Angelina will be surrounded by fans like the fans of Dimash. Who I only know because of you, thank you for introducing me to him. Every time I watch her in this Alan Walker clip, I can't help but think that this is a glimpse of Angelina's future. Full stadiums, orchestral accompaniment, live streaming to millions out in the world. It's just the way she needs to end up. Are you aware that there is a longer version of this clip where she follows up this song with Alan Walker's Faded. Here's the link, just in case you're interested: kzread.info/dash/bejne/pWmNrtKNmJfSadI.html This clip was uploaded by Boris Palenovski, one of Angelina's super-fans and a friend of the family. Keep your eyes peeled for that name; he often posts concert and rehearsal clips that you can't find anywhere else. Another great reaction, another like. Edit: Whoops. Just read through the comments and I see there are links to this longer clip already posted by others, and that you tried to post it but got blocked. That's too bad. I don't understand how this whole KZread thing works. Why do you get blocked and they don't? I'm glad that they don't, of course, otherwise I'd never get to hear it, but I don't understand it. Here's another link that might interest you. It's to Angelina Jordan Fanclub Mosarz, a site that is curated by her grandmother, or so I've been told. There are over 300 concert, rehearsal and just general everyday clips that show Angelina growing through her life. You'll enjoy it, I'm sure. kzread.info/dron/hM_lpT4shdnsez93QMJPig.htmlvideos

She is a child prodigy. And it is a God given talent. What she will do with that gift, is a gift back to God. There was a time in my life, I didn't care for classical music, opera and jazz. In my much younger days I was into the 70's & 80's disco music, 50's and the 60's music and songs. Watching talent shows, I have been amazed listening little children singing opera and I absolutely love it. Then listening to Angelina since she was little singing jazz, was so amazing to me, because of that maturity. These children's talents of singing, all I can see how God is setting up His Kingdom.. and all I see in this world is how eventually they will destroy for their selfish gain. Look at what happened to Charlotte Church. There is always something happening behind the scenes of these beautiful children. I watch these shows and pray for each child for protection. I loved that video you showed.

As for AGT. It is all about selling tickets after the shows. Who they think will fill the seats in Vegas and wherever else they play. Acrobats and death defying acts are huge followed by "American" singers and musicians to fill in the dead spaces between the acrobatic acts. I think they wanted to add Angelina into the mix, but with her only being 14, it's my opinion and only my opinion that Team AJ said ,,i,, ,,i,, .... I mean ...." no" ... :) .muahahahaha! Also, I think this might be the first time I have heard her sing with an orchestra, and it was beautiful (I particularly loved the trumpets). Firstly, I never thought I'd comment. But the fact is that, she's extraordinary and I do agree with you. She should've been given the opportunity to sing some of her favorites at AGT, not just because she necessarily has to come out winner but her talent needed more exposure, more of her songs should have been out there for the audience in the agt and around the world. I felt the buzzer was a bit of a drama. Musically, she really does have a really mature voice, more jazzy -blues-ish by nature. Anyway, thank you for this song which really suits her 10 yr old voice. Hope to keep connected with the fans through her music.

That’s what I mean when I say that she is so far out of AGT’s league that I don’t even know why she agreed to do the show, and they must have made her a special contract, because there is no way she would give up creative control or song choice to be on AGT!

My opinion. Angelina and her family agreed to appear on AGT The Champions because it gave her exposure to the millions of Americans who, for some unaccountable reason had, in the main, been unaware of her existence. This is born out by my research into people Reacting to Angelina's performances. Since her appearance on 6 January, the number of Reactors has leapt from 89 to 241 and I would hazard a guess that a large percentage of them are based in America.

Hi, Wolf Rock! In the title of the video, you mean Alan Walker. I agree completely with you concerning Angelina being, as a way of complimenting her, an old soul or, worse, that the soul of some jazz singer is trapped in her body. It is a mark of profund disrespect to her. All the glory should go to Angelina only, and to nobody else! To her gift, to her multi talent, to her innate or instinctive knowledge of vocal skills and abilities, to her determination and her long hours of practice at home, in studios or elsewhere. She is blessed of having her family supporting her, especially to her grandmother guiding her and coaching her. I know that the old soul cliché is a figure of speech and that it doesn t mean a thing to Angelina as a compliment, except that it does not do justice to the artist that she is when the compliment is made to an entity in her instead of to Angelina herself.

You couldn't be any more wrong. There is nothing disrespectful about the realization that this beautiful talented child possesses the soul of a the highly skilled musician from a prior life. It is virtually impossible for someone this age to acquire the skills she possesses by practicing or listening to other musicians. Her rendition of "I put a Spell on You", performed at age 8, is testament to this fact. This talent was not acquired by import from teachers or parents but was totally innate. I started performing professionally in 1965, and I can tell you Angelina's vocal abilities, mannerisms, jestures, and over all ease at the microphone are utterly natural to her. No one could teach that to an 8 year old child. I've only seen this once before when I performed with a 12 year old Mark O'Connor. He was another jaw dropping talent. So please, don't confuse the gift of being an old soul, with lack of innate talent because that is EXACTLY what possessing a skilled soul is. (As an aside, we all possess souls that have sojourned upon this earth perhaps hundreds of times. Unfortunately, we weren't able to bring such magnificent talent back to enrich the lives of so many, as Angelina Jordan has.) Peace.

I Like this song a lot, but for me her version of "Faded" feels even better. Just my taste, and i have no other music knowledge than what I hear and comments from reactors. But I understand that Angelina from Norway will be a huge star if she want to, but Norway is to small for her, she will be big around the world. I love her voice, her family`s priority to grow up as normal as possible. Great things has come from her, and even greater things is to come. I totally agree, this is about the music, shearing through positive comments from both sides. We don`t need to agree to it all, we don`t need to be negative when commenting but when we do that it should be in a constructive and human way. Even though I my not like a song, there may be millions of people out there who adore it and they are probably not wrong in their opinions.

It’s my personal observation and belief that there are a group of young people 9-25 years of age give or take a few who will change the world and it always shows up in the music . To quote wolf -“ I’ll say it again -listen to other music “ and I’ll add -it’s where you see the shifts . I do believe in old souls . I’ve met a couple in life and no way could they know and do what they do with such wisdom and understanding. Now let’s continue to find our collective souls . We have a new generation to make a path for . A’HO

I'm old, older than my mother. I'm also a professional musician that became immersed in classical music and jazz in that I found pop, rock, and country music mundane, repetitive, and soulless . . . until I heard this child do Screaming Jay Hawkins' song at age 8. I was forced to listen to everything she has done. Although there are a few choice songs out there, most do little for me. But the sheer pleasure of listening to her voice and seeing her demeanor transcends my lasse fare attitude. A couple of questions however: When did the unabomber get out of prison and where did he learn to play the piano? Second, ANYONE who goes to a concert and sings along should be shot in the head! I certainly don't want to pay $100 to listen to a crowd of numb nuts drowning out a talent such as Angelina Jordan. Peace.

I remember when Angelica Hale came on AGT they promoted this little girl and featured her throughout the show same as they did Angelina Jordan and she didn’t win either. This is just my own feeling that they use talent people to boost their ratings.

I had to force myself to block out the clapping and sing a long portions. Unless The artist ask, you should not participate. You don't know where or if a slow down is coming or a change in key or rhythm. Let the artist perform. By the way her performance was perfection.

We can hate on the Reality TV talent shows all we want for their manufactured drama and lack of voting accountability BUT without them we would had to wait a lot longer to discover talents like Angelina and others who would have potentially been years away from achieving any serious recognition and may have abandoned their path all-together before ever being recognized for their talent. Because of that we should encourage better accountability and transparency from them. Wishing they would go away, get cancelled, or fail may also be wishing the next Angelina Jordan lingers in obscurity.

It's so easy to NOT watch TV Wrestling and all the other so-called Scripted Talent Shows. I am only sorry Angelina got sucked into that but I hope she stayed far far away from Colonel Tom Par - er, Simon Cowell, the parasite. I'm hoping she'll follow SHIELD's lyrics!
