I don't see this at homegoing celebrations very often but even at a homegoing celebration, praises like this need to happen. I've played the drums at many homegoing celebrations and I've only played to shouting music like this only once. I don't know Angela Eastling and I never met but from what I've seen on this, I don't think she was complaining about them praising the Lord. When you let the spirit have His way, you shouldn't hold back. Now THAT was a homegoing celebration!

We don't need all these "praise stoppers." Funerals and homegoing services NEED that lift you receive in EXUBERANT WORSHIP; this is more therapeutic than just sitting there, getting sadder and more mournful by the second. Many people receive salvation, get lifted out of despair, and catch a glimpse of the New Jerusalem when people are allowed to praise God WITH ALL THEY HAVE! It happened at my father's homegoing; the exuberant, extravagant, let-go-and-let-God praise touched unbelievers AND believers...and many folks left the service FEELING BETTER THAN WHEN THEY CAME! God designed praise to also BENEFIT US, THE WORSHIPPERS! People DO respond to the Good News of salvation when they see people REJOICE IN THE GOD OUR SALVATION. The Spirit of God moves freely when people praise God freely...and Jesus changes lives as a result!

In my humble opinion, I believe our Lord is pleased when we praise Him for the deliverance of someone else. Even if HE delivered them via death of the body. Their soul is with Him. That’s worth rejoicing. I believe those musicians understood that.

I got to get up and go to work but this video has got me in tears!! Glory to GOD. The band (which I never get caught up in) but boy this here band ..... That music.....and when the one with the guitar took off that just made it worse!!! This video has added to my morning being blessed. Thank you for sharing and thank GOD for bringing me to this video. 😉

My mans on the drums did not care about the hit @0:42 secs😂. He said I’ll hit when I wanna hit😂. He did it three times in a row😂😂😂

When I tell you they sent her in!!!!!!! I don't even know her but Lawd I could see her entering into his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise. My God.

The first time I watched this was in 2018 and I said that I've never seen a praise break at a homegoing celebration like this. This is 2021 and I'm still saying the same thing today! Although I hate that this was during a sad occasion, I'm happy to see that a praise was happening in spite of! I enjoyed the musicians and this entire video! I usually don't look at too many videos from beginning to end but this is one of them! I never knew Angela Eastling but from what I've seen here, she must've been an awesome woman to be celebrated like that! Sending my love from Chicago and may Angela Eastling continue to rest peacefully in paradise!

When the music stops all you can hear nothing but foot stomping, tambourines and double hand clapping. They gone start before shout music even get started.

I don't like preachers that doesn't let the people shout like come on, let the people praise God for a couple of minutes cause u don't know what they have gone through and plus at a funeral it's not suppose to be a sad funeral, we should be rejoicing cause a soul has been usended to heaven so let the people praise God

Man you know it’s God moving when the Bass player took a break to shout. Then that drummer man beat that pocket up smooth on that bass drum. The Keyboard player had to get his praise while trying to keep the band together. Man the preacher wanted to praise. But, he know us black folks will shout all day. So he done all he could lol!! Not to mention my man he sherif running through the crowd while praising. I am dancing myself while witnessing all of this. This is one celebration I hate that I missed and don’t know the lady. So by the crowd she was a God Fearing and loving woman..

That's the WRONG song to sing to try and STOP the Move! Plus if the family is SHOUTING who ARE the ones to STOP the praise from going forth?! When my only daughter passed at 22 I DARED the presiding elder to pull a coat tail, talk to much, try to calm us down, take a fan, grab some extra CHICKEN, cut time, or ANYTHING OF THE SORT!!! WE NEEDED that PRAISE because I KNEW GRIEF was COMING!!! FIND SEVERAL SEATS AND SAT DOWN!!! I understand protocol but I also understand the CATHARSIS OF PRAISE!! LET ALL THE PPL PRAISE HIM!!!
