This drama was very captivating! I loved the chemistry between Tang fan and Sui Zhou and the story was very heart touching. This is a Chinese BROMANCE drama based on a BL novel.
The story's summary is basically about Tang Fan, a sixth rank official and Sui Zhou, a decorated uniform guard, join hands to crush a conspiracy to maintain peace and order for the people. After working together to solve the case involving the Marquis' son, Tang Fan and Sui Zhou gain widespread fame and form a lasting "friendship" with each other. (Yeah right friendship *wink wink*) Although his reputation precedes him, Tang Fan remains honest and upright in his duty as a public servant and continues to rent a humble home. His landlord is found dead in her quarters presumably from suicide, but clues lead to suspicions of foul play. After the case is resolved, Tang Fan travels to Henan to investigate the sudden disappearances of people near the tomb site of the late Northern Song Emperor. When the culprit is revealed, it seems that he is but a pawn in a much grander conspiracy. As major cases continue to plague the capital and the local offices, Tang Fan and Sui Zhou work hard to unmask the mastermind who is pulling the strings in the background. (I Forgot to mention that Sui Zhou is always protecting Tang Fan just like a husband would protect his wife aaah!)
The drama has 48 episodes and each is about 40 minutes. I really like the ost, and the plot. I recommend it a lot!
Also, I heard that the drama didn't became that successful in China, but I believe this can become big! So please, let's support the actors and give love to this amazing drama! It really was fantastic!

This is honestly a really underated drama. I watched this in 3 days in god I LOVE IT!!
Just finished watching this drama and I'm really loving it. This drama should even get more credit than Untamed. Perfect chemistry between Tang Fan and Sui Zhou. Thank you for the video.

I watched this and read the novel last year. The reason why this isn't as popular as Word of Honor or The Untamed is because we were robbed. This is originally a BL novel but they added a female lead. They should've at least made it like Word of Honor. Don't add a female love interest if you're basing this on a BL. I know it's because of the Chinese censorship, but this is really disrespectful. They make gay characters straight and ignore how much work the author has put into making Sui Zhou and Tang Fan inseparable. Their relationship throughout the novel is something to admire... but we were robbed of that. Anyway. I hope you don't think of TU or WoF fans as shallow; we've had enough of directors and script writers ruining masterpieces like TSoMD.

I still can't believe Jackie Chan produced this, he must have read the novel knowing that it contained a love story between 2 men which just makes me surprised because he's famous and I wouldn't expect this from someone like him. I don't mean it in a bad way but in a conservative way.

This is so beautiful 😭😭💙 I've been watching this drama recently and it's amazing ❤️❤️❤️ and i feel really sad i didn't watch it when it released 😞also i loved tang fan and sui Zhou...they are soulmates 😭❤️ and wang chi is royal i gotta say he is gorgeous ❤️❤️👑
