Incredible pianist. 😎 The next generation of classical music performances is in good hands with youngsters like Angel Wang and Yunchan Lim.

Brilliant pianist, indeed. ❤️❤️❤️

Well there is also George Horliono and Alexander Malofeev, both outstanding. Angel is the best to watch of them all I think.

@@pianoman16 it's an eternal question dabating how pianists should behave on stage... Each teacher has his /her own approach to young students and when you add self confidence moment plus plus, you get how each artists behave while performing. When I watch Kissin playing as a child it's impressive to me. Now, Lim, 20 YEARS OLD SINCE YESTERDAY delivers me the most of all young stars.
Lovely ❤

A parallel universe
Very good. In the Beethoven Sonata he played some left hand parts marked piano as pianissimo. However that should not have cost him first place. Classical music is in good hands!

Anyone else find the applause at the end of every piece played irritating? It also makes the audience look silly and ignorant. Whereas in the Chopin competition, the applause is restrained until the end of the whole recital creating a suspense that is broken after the last piece is played. This way, I believe is also advantageous for the competitor to really focus on their playing. Perhaps the Tchaikovsky competition can learn this from the Chopin competition!😊

I also find it irritating when the audience appauds after each movement of a symphony.
