Angel Stadium of Anaheim Opening Game 2012 with C-17 Flyover

I just wanted to upload the video I took of the unfurling of the American flag on the field and a flyover of a USAF C-17 at the first Angels baseball game at Angel Stadium of Anaheim on April 6th, 2012.
This clip also shows David Cook singing the Star Spangled Banner.

In the official video posted by MLB.com, one can hear his voice clearly all throughout though. I guess it depends on the location of the recorder. The low fly-by and the crowd cheering will understandably make him hard to hear from some locations.

I was over by 1st base so I didnt even realize someone fell. Afterwards when we got the flag back inside its a mad dash to try to get it put back in the bags so everyone is scrambling. Then we were released and rushed to get to our seats so we can actually watch the game.

That's so cool! Did you get a chance to talk to the person who fell under the flag around 0:27??! I'd be curious what that was like. :)

There are different groups that do volunteer stuff and they are asked by the flag guys for the bodies. Usually they are begging for people but this was Pujols' first year so it filled up quick. I'm on Angelswin. org and there are a few guys on there that ask for volunteers for these kinds of things. Some give free tickets once in awhile. Matsuiland, Toriitown, and Hamiltown out in right field gets its people from here.
