Angel is enjoying a resurgence. Got the 3rd and 4th albums in my teens. Now, at my age, I'm going thru Angel's whole catalogue from the first album to the latest. I realized I've been right all along with KISS and ANGEL. You've made this old fart with a kid's heart happy. Thank you.

When Risen came out I was so happy a band who was been dormant for the past fourty to twenty years back in the studio

Just saw Frank and punky a couple of months ago in Las Vegas. What a great show punky has not lost a step and Frank. Actually, I think his voice even sounds better than it was 35 years ago.

I saw Frank Dimino at the Arcada Theater in Illinois a few years back.When looking down at the audience from the upper level I noticed three quarter of all the people were all half bald.Just tells you we are all getting old but we still came there to relive the good music from out youth.Was a great show and glad I went.

Great performance. I bought this album when I was in college decades ago. Whoever wrote this song is a genius.

I bought this album in 78 when I saw them with the Godz! in Pgh. the best $2 concert ever! Great album!

What a great gig this was! I was three rows from the front directly in front of Punky, loved every second of it!

One of my favorite bands angel and kiss!!!!! Imagine that same label opposite colors different styles but I love them both

I was pretty freaked out the first time I looked at their album cover upside down and read the band name. I got into Angel in high school!

This is amazing to hear all these years later. As a teenager, I was into all of Angel's albums. My high school and then college friends were all into this band. These guys should have been huge- i's an understatement when Frank says in this video that "Casablanca thought differently." It was that record company's "thinking" that did them no justice.

I loved this band since my older brother brought it home and said listen to this , probably at least once or twice a year I play WhIte Hot turned all the way up and lose myself in it, I gotta say they sounded great then and at this show.

Just as good as the day I put it on my turntable in 1978! Love these guys! So good to hear them again

A friend of mine gave me the White Hot album on vinyl. It was an advance copy that was given to a radio station; ...and I still have it! This was the song that I got me to be an Angel fan. I then went out and got all of their albums. I loved the live album. I'm very glad to see them still doing it!

I got all of angel's original albums on vinyl. I know, and I still wanna smash my head into my stereo speakers whenever I hear Them their just so underrated to the point where I Just can't stand it. That's all I have to say

Barry was such a killer player. I was always surprised that he never got picked up by a big band after Angel.

Gutted I missed them over here in the UK for the tour. Hope they'll come again!

"Don't leave me lonely" sounds like the precursor of "Don't take your love" which should have been released as a single and would have been a hit.

i was lucky to see them twice back in 79 and again in 80, been my favorite band since, killer opening act,got to see charlie rise up in the back!

Lovers Live On is one their catchiest tunes! Should have been a hit single!!!

God ,I love this band. My first concert AEROSMITH AND ANGLE.!! WTH didnt these guys get more RECOGNITION?? I am dumbfounded!! If you need more proof of how good they are, listen to their GREATEST HITS, or Live album,NUFF SAID!! And yes,its 2021 and I am still listening. Hope you are too!!! Sorry, I spelled ANGEL wrong,MY BAD!

I'm a musician and I love Angel, but they're the kind of band that's too heavy for some and too poppy for others. The fans prefer bands like Metallica or Iron Maiden because they leave no doubt about what they do and who they are. Canadian band Triumph encountered the same problems because they were also the good guys dressed up in white who were obviously struggling with an "identity crisis". You know what they say: nice boys don't play rock 'n' roll !

You might be right, but there were a lot of bands with similar or less talent that made it like kiss sticks, journey, et cetera that would fit that Mold, so angel is kind of an enigma because they had all the town in the world, they had the songs and they just. Didn't get played like they should have. I think it had a lot to do with the record label. And they were probably 5 to 10 years ahead of their time. Definitely with their last two albums they were The hairband before there were hair bands

Frank is ageless.

These guys have stuck it out because they love what they do.

@Sweetleaf Tone Lab I don't mind the second guitarist in Angel. Iron Maiden had an extra guitar player in Janic Gers doing dual guitar with Dave Murray and it worked even though Maiden aren't a keyboard band. As for Barry Brandt if you have heard Punky Meadows recent interview with Eddie Trunk , I remember Punky mentioning Barry Brandt has some physical health issues. The drummer they have now in Billy Orico is very good & perfect for the new Angel .

If it wasn't for the second guitar player, angel would have never gotten back together. He was the one that talked punky into it.

What do you think? Why did they not make it big? I would speculate that maybe they all were to good looking for their time as funny as that sounds. The industry was not ready for them at this time.

まさか、エンジェルが活動しているとは、ただ残念ながらパンキーメドウスとフランクデミノ二人だけで、７０年代のエンジェルとは違うか、やはりグレッグジェフリアがいてこそのエンジェルでハレルヤバンドのアルバムが彼らの最高だとアルバムを購入して思いました。又パンキーのギター🎸が平凡だったのがガッカリでした。今回のアルバムで1曲AC/DC のバックインブラックのパクリが有ります残念。
