I was like 7 when this song came out. I remember my mom was 29, driving us around and her singing this song at the top of her lungs. My mom's been gone 7 years and every time I her this ,I smile and think ,dam mom ,you were much cooler than I gave you credit for.

The first time I heard this song, I was walking through a thrift store, looking for some new clothes to wear on a trip to the Tetons. It was my first time to ride an airplane. It was my first time to go on a trip that I planned and directed myself. I didn't have a lot of good winter clothes, so I was looking for stuff like that. And I found the perfect outfit, and this started playing on the loudspeakers. I noted it so I could look it up later, and now I'm listening to it again, while remembering how fun that trip was. Not that anyone cares, but I figured, why not write it out somewhere.

The memory of dancing to Juice Newton singing this in 1982 is etched in my memory. She was playing a college bar in Madison WI. For whatever reason, maybe that Madison wasn't a big country music town, there wasn't a huge crowd and fewer still on the dance floor. I danced by myself to every one of her/their songs, often the only person on the dance floor. like a private show by Juice Newton for me. To anyone else this is probably boring, but to me it was and still is unforgettable. I am glad people still appreciate her music.

Still a great brilliant song after many years and it still is. What I can't understand is how can anyone not like this song. All the words to this great brilliant song is what makes this song special to many. And of course there's others with no real taste to a great classic song like this who don't like this song. But then again we're all different. This beautiful love song has meaning to many. Many others have there own personal special reasons to why they love this song and they always will. There'll be no strings to bind your hands Not if my love can't bind your heart There's no need to take a stand For it was I who chose to start I see no need to take me home I'm old enough to face the dawn Just call me angel of the morning, angel Just touch my cheek before you leave me, baby Just call me angel of the morning, angel Then slowly turn away from me Maybe the sun's light will be dim And it won't matter anyhow If morning's echo says we've sinned Well, it was what I wanted now And if we're victims of the night I won't be blinded by the light Just call me angel of the morning, angel Just touch my cheek before you leave me, baby Just call me angel of the morning, angel Then slowly turn away I won't beg you to stay with me Through the tears Of the day Of the years Baby Just call me angel of the morning, angel Just touch my cheek before you leave me, baby Just call me angel of the morning, angel Just touch my cheek before you leave me, darling Just call me angel of the morning, angel Just touch my cheek before you leave me, darling

And me too Maria, November ist 2019
You gotta love how this song was used on blacklist..... 🔥🔥
Played this song to my Nan who had full blown dementia, she couldn't remember who I was, but remembered and sang all the words.
How can so many people have never heard this song before? It's one of those songs that is played over mall speakers and elevators and stuff.

+Aiden Raccoon I have heard of the tune before, but fuckin A the opening of Deadpool and this song brought a renewed love to it. Much like Wayne's World did with Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody back when that movie came out.

I've heard this before. My mom use to sing this to me every morning when I was 4. But I've always found myself listening to shaggy's version.

+John Mike It's funny. I didn't even know about this song until about a few months ago. I used to work at my local grocery store and they would play "older" country music. This was one of the songs they would play. I became so obsessed with this song especially after finding out the name of this song. I have listened to this song dozens of times. Ironically, I haven't seen "Deadpool."
Not here from a movie or series, here for the song and the love of it.

I know her voice is amazing and unique. I had no idea that she is a multi-instrumentalist. Hope I can find a Bio here on KZread. 🎸
I still remember the very first time I heard this song and I instantly loved it . . . I was all of 7 years old at the time . . . What a blessing it is to have grown up in the best decade of all time, I would give ANYTHING to do it all over again !!!🙏❤️🇺🇲😎
Killing Eve brought me here. It was in German or Dutch I think, but I recognized the tune. ❤️Sweet memories!
Ty my beautiful angel Juice Newton for giving me such joy in this song and uplifting all us women who have felt lost in love

I remember singing this song in the car with my mom when I was little. I haven't heard it in years then I heard it on deadpool and it brought those memories back
That's easy to answer. Today's music is about sex an money 80, 90s were about love

True, but also some of today's music is pretty good most of it is junk but some is perfect. I'm 16 and I like music which was written before I was born lmao.

Except for that "All I Wanna Do(Is Make Love To You)" About picking up a hitch hiker at night in the rain and banging him in a cheap motel, thus commiting adultery.

It sounds rough, but it's probably a reflection of what lives in people's heart at this time. That's why certain people get very famous and others don't. Money and power could also be a reason why they were able to get rich. Who knows..? I could be wrong..
October 1st 2020😍 My Ex made me love this song... watching “IT 2” and I couldn’t stop smiling. He was a good guy. 3D 🥂
This song brings back so many good memories for me--havent heard it for years.love it!
ahhh the days when good music existed :'(
Juice, gracias por esta canción, no aabws cuántas veces la escucho al día y no me cansa y aburre. Es una canción muy hermosa más la música y la fuerza con que la cantas. Gracias
"Then slowly turn away, I wont beg you to stay" such an iconic line and quite relatable
