We used to wear our vans in the water in the winter great traction and the walk through the stuff on the beach and not freeze our feet. Awesome shoes for skateboarding, surfing and partying at night.
There’s so much I like about this I’m unsure where to begin … suffice to say … it makes me proud that she gets to do this and prove that … it’s not just a “man’s world” anymore … ❤️😎❤️

I was twelve riding my Corkey Carrol in Cocoa beach Florida every day, all summer, on tiny waves, and learned to really use the nose to get everything out of the ride. Saw my first Shark under my board. Time to pack up and head back to Huntington Beach California. Summer was over. Time has flown away. 1976.

Yeap I used to go to Huntington Cliffs back then as well. we saw a huge great white shark out there once. Boy did my friend paddle in that morning.

So I have to be honest I haven't worn Van's since globe made a shoe that was great for wake skate tricks. But when I longboard it makes me feel in touch my sole and spiritual bliss. Much like this video just did. This isn't hipster, silly trolls. That was a real tear in my eye. This is the way things were when things still felt pure. And anyone who doesn't understand this probably doesn't really surf or doesn't understand the globe is slowly deteriorating because us as humans pretty much suck and basically ruined it. Sorry about the rant there but you know who you are, and you needed to hear it. Anyhow your longboard style is much like mine except you make it look way more beautiful and graceful.. Inspirationally awsome stuff. Thanks, I am totally ready to paddle out and get wet down there now. If you know what I mean.. So maybe I'll see you out on northshore. I'm the hawaii guy from florida shredding stand up on a boogieboard(lmao, I know it still sounds funny when I say it) that's been hiding from the social media world until the pandemic hit...
