Ange is completely right to make these comments. A selection of the spurs fanbase have let the club down massively and turned rivalry into madness. This mentality cannot be involved in a successful club and that is why there has been no success. Emery has done even better. As for finishing above Chelsea and United, Spurs have played the least number of games and have had more rest than anyone in the top ten. Chelsea and United advanced further in cup competitions and have finals to show for it. Aston Villa advanced further than cup competitions. He hasn't done that well. He spent more money than anyone else in January.

I think Ange has seen the Tottenham fans for what they are. Arsenal live rent free in their heads and they are more concerned with stopping Arsenal win trophies then winning anything themselves. Butt hurt Arsenal fans

I like ange,he seems a stand up fella,he just wants to win.Unbelievable how anyone would want their team to lose,no matter the circumstances

This is how it always ends for coaches at spurs!

The fan (s) on the TV that were trying to start the first "Pozman (sp?)" were embarrassing. He was with his mates and was wanting them to join in but they looked so sheepish and uncomfortable. If I was a Spurs fan and saw him doing that in the stadium I'd want to level him, but hey, I don't support clubs that don't care about winning stuff and are preoccupied with their rivals success or failure. That's just me. I want to be successful in my own life, I don't gain anything from seeing others fail and am perfectly calm when others succeed.

yeah right!! 4-0 against Newcastle, 4 against Liverpool , 2 against Chelsea and 3 against Arsenal!! Suddenly you wanna win a game of football!! Bruhda

You can't fix something if you don't know why it's broken, Ange is right to call it out! Any Spurs fans who want him out are fools!!

A manager tries to win the game to give his club a chance to play in the biggest European Competition which will help him massively in building his team. However, a majority of Spurs fan want their team to lose, hence throw away the chance that their manager is hoping to get. Madness! What a shambolic fanbase....

Started following Spurs this year because of Ange. As an Aussie, we cannot believe fans would ever want their own team to lose. It defies description, seem to be a sick and in many cases points to a pathetic fan base, not sure if this is common to english football or just Spurs. Suggests to me why other managers have struggled. Every sporting code has opposition teams that we hate, but to want your own team to lose is bottom of the barrel stuff, not to mention to blame the manager for getting to the top 5 having lost the best striker in the game shows true credentials of said fans. Ange would have done great at Liverpool.

Thus it is perfectly natural for a fan of a manager to want his club at any given moment to succeed. This should be obvious.

As an Arsenal supporter, I really like this guy. The right mentality. It was pathetic to see Spurs supporters celebrating their team when it was clear that they weren't coming back from being two goals down. Definitely feel for Ange and players like Bentancur and Vicario, the right approach and attitude only to be complemented by a small mentality.

He looked like he’s had enough of these pathetic fans. I suspect he will leave . As these fans deserve . I can’t imagine any great manager ever wanting to manage spurs after this .

He’s seen Ohara with the City top on after scoring against them and realized the shite tip he has taken on! Get yourself to a club with a better outlook Ange, you deserve better mate.

This shows what an honest down to earth manager he is.We need him for our next England manager.

He’s 100% spot on, I’m looking forward to next season, we need to start games stronger we had the wind knock out of our sails early, and didn’t have the experience to bounce back, with the right recruitment we’ll be up right up there for sure.

Thank you Ange trying to root out the problems at the club. Some personnel needs to go. He needs to build a CLUB with the mentality he has. Its not done in a year and I think he was aware of that.

As an Arsenal fan, Ange is truly class and deserves more. The disappointment on his face sums up while, Modric, Bale, Kane ventured away. Kane isnt a champion yet but he will be before his career ends. And spurs will continue to pretend theyre a big club

Given our mentality and softness over the last few years ,Ange is realising that we're rotten from the top down . Wouldn't surprise me if he went ,he's got ambition

You know why he said that? Because he probably is sick and tired of Tottenham Hotspur as a club and its fanbase always worrying about other club's success and failures. They are always about "stopping Arsenal", "preventing Chelsea", etc rather than focusing on how they can improve themselves. Once Tottenham stops doing that, maybe they will push on.

Get out whilst you still can Ange. You are better than that bunch of losers.

I don't get what all the fuss is about with some Spurs fans wanting to lose this game. After all, it's an exhibition match as they won the league in October.

Some Spurs fans are crazy going all over the internet talking about wanting to lose the game not realising how it will impact their manager is INSANE!! How can a hatred for your rival be more strong than the love for your club. That's why Spurs has never/will never win anything in the near future. This is the same club that fired Mourinho One week to a League cup final. Conte said the same thing and Big Ange is realising that the problem far exceeds what's going on on the pitch. So Big Ange has every right to be ANGRY.

Tottenham isn’t even one of the big 4 clubs in England. Manchester United could be the biggest or the second biggest club in the world. Spurs fans were never ever like this in the 60s and 70s when I started as a fan we didn't care about Arsenal we had a winning mentality with Bill Nick in charge .A winning mentality is what we need now not a losing mentality .!

This is a man came down from the most fierce rivalry on these shores to see that pathetic part of the so called fans 😂😂

All some sad folk have in their lives is "schadenfreud " ( taking pleasure in other peoples misery) I have supported Spurs for 70 years. I am lucky enough to have come from a generation who had a sports master who would take us to play a school match on a Saturday morning and then play for Spurs in the afternoon. We took pride of watching George Robb scoring in Spurs in Tottenhams 10-4 victory over Everton in 1958. Bill Nicholson's first game as manager. All we wanted was for our team to WIN. Even when George Robb was taking us for history on the following Monday . And said sharply " Bernstein when I am playing for Spurs . I don't want to hear you shouting out COME ON GEORGIE !! It's MR ROBB to you. Yes a different world where we used to stand next to Arsenal supporters at WHL or Highbury . And supported our own teams !!

Big respect for Ange, he's come out of all this looking far too good for those losers.

I'm a Manchester United fan. And I remember a City fan saying to me he'd rather beat Manchester United home and away in a season rather than win the league. I was flabbergasted he said it. But he meant it. His hatred for United was far deeper than his love for City. To me he's not a football fan. To me, he's just a buffoon. Just like a lot of Spurs fans that were here evidently.

What is so hard to understand by these pundits? Ange wants Tottenham to grow as a team, to be a real title contender. Not mind whatever Arsenal does.

Im an Arsenal fan, rivalry aside a minority of the Spurs fanbase have let themselves down. This is a club who should be competing for trophies. 2 years ago Spurs were in the ascendency and now the pendulum has swung back in arsenals favour through heavy investment, clear strategy/leadership and above all ambition😊
