Sekrenyi, known locally as Phousanyi, is a major annual festival of the Angami Nagas, among the many festivals held by them, in the northeast Indian state of Nagaland. It is observed for ten days from the 25th day of the Angami calendar month of "Kezei" (usually corresponding to 25 February in the Gregorian calendar) under the auspices of the Angami Public Organisation in association with many other organizations and the state government. It is a "purification festival" held to wash off all past sins.[1][2] The objective of the festival is to renew and "make holy" by cleansing the "body and the soul" of the village as a whole, and to bring forth unity among all communities of Nagaland.

I seriously love and support the way you wear the Ao attire in such festival. Appreciated however, the one that which make me confused is... is this hybrid Ao attire?? No offence just for the knowledge as a whole in days to come. I would suggest if you wear your own or Angami attire would be more meaningful.

Please don't mind me, but please know the attire properly and wore it. This is not the exact Ao traditional attire you wore. We don't put that red headband, we put different one. You can checkout in Google or ask someone else if you have Ao friends then. I should say it will be more pretty if you wear your own traditional attire or your man's traditional attire. I feel so guilty for saying this to you but I don't accept the way you wore our Ao traditional attire, I should say it's hybrid Ao traditional attire. ✌️
