“I am blessed because of my parents”

The husband and I were having dinner Tuesday night at the only restaurant in town where we live. As we were waiting for the server to deliver our food, three people came in walking pass our table. Mom, dad, and their son (I'm guessing). The son is around middle age. Mom and dad are probably in their 70s. They probably live in the neighborhood too. I am guessing that the son is buying them dinner and for me it was a gesture of kindness to his parents. I know the feeling because I don't get to have dinner with my mom and dad whenever I want to or I'm special occasions. I have to fly 2500 miles to hang out with them. A simple act of taking your mom and dad to dinner is big deal for them. These people look happier as they were smiling at me and mom.and dad even waved at us. Older people lie to talk about everything and they like to tell stories over and over. I don't find it irritating. We will grow old someday. We weill be like them too.

Good homily but what about of aging people with no family?....just asking.

Magmamahalan pa ba ang lahat ng tao? mayroon ba talaga tayong dahilan upang maniwala na ang gayong pagbabago ay posible-na ang lahat ng tao ay matututong magmahalan at mamuhay nang sama-sama sa kapayapaan sa isa't isa? Binigyang-diin ni Jesus na, kasunod ng pag-ibig sa Diyos, ang pag-ibig sa kapuwa ang dapat maghari sa ating buhay. ( Mateo 22:34-40 ) sa ngayon din Kapag dumating ang Kaharian ng Diyos, ano ang mangyayari sa sanlibutang ito na puno ng poot? “Ang Kaharian,” ay “dudurog at magwawakas” sa lahat ng tiwaling pamahalaan ng sanlibutang ito. ( Daniel 2:44 ) Ipinaliwanag ng Bibliya: “Ang sanlibutan ay lumilipas . . . , ngunit siya na gumagawa ng kalooban ng Diyos ay nananatili magpakailanman.”-1 Juan 2:17.
