@@paolasoriano2867 Well, medyo malakas kasi ang dating. She did have a presence which looking back, I guess served her in good stead for her future career as a broadcaster. She mostly circulated with the elitist crowd, people like Kim Atienza, Gilbert Remulla, Jonas Abueva, Wency Cornejo and AA Legarda who like her were Broadcasting majors. Well, she wouldn't be accused of rubbing elbows with the ordinary Iskos and Iskas, not that we made it any easier on her . . . Kids!

I love how Karen brought up the Alma Moreno and the Manny Pacquiao interviews kasi dun talaga siya humakot ng puna from the public. But that’s Philippines for you. Kung sa USA yan for example, people would appreciate her for asking those questions thrown at her guests because those two people were running for public service. By asking those questions dun malalaman ng tao how qualified they are to be in politics. Kaso sa Pilipinas it’s all about popularity and not so much about qualifications. So sila pa yung naooffend para dun sa mga artista who are running for public office. Kaya ako, I usually roll my eyes kung si Karen pa yung tinatawag na condescending when she’s only doing her job and mind you I think she usually ask the right questions no holds barred and that’s what I love about her.

People keep on bashing her dahil sa mga clips ng interviews niya. People nowadays easily judge other people. Blinded sila masyado sa paniniwala nila. This is a good conversation.

She does not deserve all the hate that she's getting. She is a beautiful person inside and out. Plus, she is exceptional in what she does.

This interview was an eye opener. Karen looks "mataray and fierce" but from this interview realized she is so down to earth and may puso. Kudos Karen and Ogie for making this interview possible...👍

The reason why you're bashed evrytime you interviewed popular celebrities or politicians, is because of the way you asks questions. Pag nagtanong ka kc, may judgement ka kaagad. Questions is raised to get the truth of the matter not to judge the character of the person based on your own perception. You might have not noticed, but most of the time, your questions is answerable multiple choice, as if you're trying to put in the horse's mouth the answer you chose to hear, not based on his own will and analysis. Dapat kasi kayong mga media, magtanong lang pero wag mag expect na ang sagot ay yung gusto nyo lang na marinig. Another thing, didnt you noticed, interviewers tend to debate the answers of the interviewee themselves? Tama ba yun? Media MUST SHOW RESPECT IF YOU WANT TO BE RESPECTED. Wag kayo judgmental. When you interview people especially polticians, matino man sya o hindi, you should set aside your personal preferences para fair ang magiging interview. That way, hindi din kayo maja juge at iba bash ng listeners nyo, ok?

#storytime I can relate sa hoarse voice Ms Karen. I was a Public School Teacher for 4 years and dahil sa dami ng students per class, at 4 or 5x sections a day klase, *at hindi pa ako naglalapel, napaos talaga ako. Dumating sa point na hindi ako makapagturo ng maayos sa klase dahil wala na talagang lumalabas na boses and I have to write in the board what I have to say just to keep the class going. One time nagpacheck up ako sa doctor and sabi niya na ipahinga ko ang voice ko at wag mastress, wag muna magtalk for ilang weeks. Eh di ko naman magawa yon dahil puhunan ko ang voice ko to work. Kung kayo nga grabe 10years, ako 4 years palang ganon na nangyari. Bumabalik naman ang voice after maipahinga pero hoarse na talaga. Now, 2years na akong resigned as a public school teacher, and totoo, mas makakarecover ang voice pag talagang you get enough sleep, hindi ka nasstress at di ka masyado dumadaldal. Bumalik yong voice ko sa dati. Thanks be to God. Thank you for sharing your story. 🤍 Thank you Sir Ogie for producing valuable contents like this. I can relate on you Ms. Karen Davila coz I was bribed too 6 digits abroad currency on my 1st month in my job but like you I didn't accept coz I'm not who they think I am. Yes, a skill that Karen should have and learn from.

This interview opened my eyes and thought differently now of Karen Davila. I have now a different opinion of her. She’s very intellectual! One classy lady. On the lighter side, I really liked her friendship with Ms Small Laude whom she spoke highly of during their renewal of vows.

This is really nice to know Karen in a very humble interview. No filter.
