I have to say, there are so many obscure musicians and songs etc that is VERY good. I might be biased here as I am Norwegian. But is is very good. I tend to go to concerts wherever I am on holiday. And there are some silly good bands out there. Some not so good too, But most are fun. Maybe not on youtube.. but live.. oh YES!!

I know this song since almost 40 years, and I never thought, that it could ever make me cry. Well, it did, thanks to Ane Brun !

Best big in Japan cover ever!!!

I met this woman 2 years ago. She came to do a show in our town and after she went down to the restaurant where I was working and I got to talk with her. She is one of the kindest and warmest person I got meet. An incredible soul. ❤☀🙏

no, its not...sounds like all the other crap today.

One of the most beautifully done & truly unique cover songs I've heard in my nearing 50 years on this planet. Ane Brun did to Big In Japan what Chris Cornell did to Billie Jean... she owned it by putting taking what came off as a dance track & made it into a soul crushing ballad. Thank you.

"How I fell in love with a gangster" brought me here, amazing movie with a sweet song.

I love her so much. She's such an incredible artist. She should be known so much more...

Tears in my eyes. Love the original which I always thought was melancholic but this was amazing.

Only Ane Brun ist able to bring out all the pain that lies in this song - wonderful extraordinary cover - love you Ane

Alphaville fan since the mid 80s, one of my absolute favorite bands of all time, with Prostitute being my favorite album. Heard this cover at the beginning of a movie on Netflix, can't remember the name or quickly find on google, a "foreign" gangster film though I believe. I didn't recognize the cover at first but then did and it brought tears to my eyes. I might actually prefer Ane's version, so soulful.

I was not familiar with this artist, but am old enough to have bought several copies of "Alphaville Greatest Hits" when they were still being cleared out in the local CD shop thirty years ago. In November 2021 I was up in Haida Gwaii working for a few days. The place was deserted because of Covid and a horrendous rainstorm. Having dinner in one of the few local diners open for customers, I heard this on their internet radio, and went to look it up as I was familiar with the song but not the artist. Great rendition.
