He fought after Joshua ran from the trilogy and hasn’t lost, Joshua had to run from Andy the whole secondly fight because he almost got dropped the same way as the first fight, Andy had him in danger more than anyone before

The fighters who criticize him have yet to reach the peak of the mountain...where the only place you can go is DOWN. Andy Ruiz showed he didn't have the character or discipline to wear the crown. Crazy how some of Joshua's best options right now are to rematch someone you already beat (Parker) or rematch someone else you already beat (Ruiz) or fight some guy who's coming off a loss (Wilder). I think Joshua's next opponent should either be Zhang or Hrgovic. Especially Zhang, because he's 40, and he needs that cashout fight real soon before he gets too old.

I won't make the argument that Wilder is a bigger draw but it terms of cumulative career PPV buys...it's like night and day. Andy had a fluke win against AJ and hasn't done much since he lost the rematch. AJ blessed him with fame and fortune, then the kid became lazy and complacent, e.g. he fights once a year if we're lucky. Andy is essentially the Mexican Buster Douglas but negotiates like he's Canelo.

Andy Ruiz is good he really have to stay active. Forget the elite fights. You blew that. Look out for other good opponents. Franck Sanchez, Hrgovic, Bakole, Dubois and if he wins he is automatically back. Good victories brings attention.

Should fight frank Sanchez would be a good match up I think .

I agree with Ruiz. The thing about boxing promotion is not so much about quality as marketability. AJ is not a great fighter, he's good but he's marketable. What tends to happen in HW boxing is that promoters wrap their fighter in cotton, rack up impressive win ratios THEN look for big money fights. If their guy gets beat then simply have them fight another average fighter and get them back in the loop. It's a shame it has to be this way because it should really be about quality Vs quality but I suppose it is what it is. The only thing that really suffers is the boxing itself, could be so much better more of the time.
