This game is genuinely so insane. Pushing aside all its obvious problems, the writing is spectacular. Every word out of Leyley's mouth made me so mad and everytime Andy gives in I get frustrated and then I get amazed because god those years of her manipulation on him and their near-insanity together makes this truly a grim game. To me, it's not the demons or the murder or even the cannibalism that make this game so dark, but rather the dynamics of the main characters. A shame that Jay couldn't continue it :(

So well that people could kill their own family without objection for food. People used cannibalism a lot at that time. The siblings have been locked for months and we keep seeing Ashley faint of hunger, so it not surprising that they considered that options. They might not die of hunger even without that corpse but the starvation they're going through is not different from a torture.

@@guantanamosteve5445 just because i find the girl annoying doesn’t make it a “ nitpick” the definition of nitpick is supposed to be about a minor issue, when her being annoying (especially with her manipulativeness) is like the full driving point of the game. Another thing is the banter that the two of them have together happens way too much. I get that they’re siblings and they argue but having a banter every 5 minutes of a gameplay sort of ruins the immersion since their banter is the same thing over and over again. Ashley annoys her brother, brother gets mad, ashley continues to aggravate him, brother gets mad but ends up giving in anyway. I know those arguments were supposed to show that andrew is easily swayed by his sister but having that kind of banter 5 times in one episode is excessive.

This game seems really interesting so I’d love the second episode from jay! Ashley does make me wanna rip my hair out and scream with her crazy comments, still can’t believe they’re siblings, but yeah! Do the next episode for sure!!

Jay I completely agree with you about the siblings vibe being off like there’s some underlying tension…she might be the little sister who’s obsessed with her older brother in a none platonic way to the point where she has developed yandere like tendencies to protect that obsession. Seriously looking at this relationship I still have no idea how anyone could perceive this as fetish material. Like if you look at this relationship and seriously saw fetish material that probably means you’re a person who thought Fifty Shades of Grey and 365 days was sexy. This relationship is not sexy in any way shape or form. Looking at this relationship, I literally am head scratching, trying to figure out where in any perspective of reality someone could actually think this is fetish material. Because seriously people, let’s break this relationship down: It’s based around an incredible amount of codependency, toxicity, gaslighting, and straight up abuse. Ashley literally killed someone as a child because said kid had a crush on her brother, And uses that as leverage over her brother so she can keep him all to herself. And when Andrew did get in a relationship with other girls, she harassed them and sent death threats until they broke up with them. She actively prevents him from having anyone else in his life, is constantly gaslighting him, and has him do her dirty work so she can keep her hands clean. Also, having seen that route, I’m gonna point this out Ashley literally just use it as a way to keep Andrew around. Meaning, she’s OK with sexually abusing her brother if it means that he stays with her.
